Live Match Chat Gameweek 16 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 16 FPL News: And the silly season begins… Our first game-week on top of another, quickly followed by another. Expect rotation, expect the unexpected. As much as traditional team selections may go out of the window, expected results often do too. Welcome to the beginning of the reason they give us an opportunity to select 15 playing players. We hope you took that particular gift and didn’t squander it as it’s one you may well need, starting this evening, in all probability. Talking of which we begin with two games on Tuesday as Bournemouth face a suddenly rejuvenated Leicester, don’t get too excited though, they won’t get to play against Stones and co every week. Arsenal then face a beleaguered and strangely uninterested Everton at Goodison. Wednesday then sees a bumper night with 8 fixtures in total with the likes of Spurs, Man City and Chelsea all having games from which they should, in theory, have us all celebrating good fantasy points…

Whether they do or not please feel free to join us on the journey and post your thoughts, feelings, frustrations and hopefully celebrations. And no doubt the odd rate my rate as GW17 follows in quick succession!

I really dont know wether to hold on to nacho or not. Do we think he’s going to start against arsenal? Or would it ne safer to buy origi or rondon. Really confused. Help.

Have transferred out Jenkinson for Alonso and considering taking a hit to take out Iheanacho. 0 ITB.
Have 140 points to make up in my mini-league. Realise my GKs/defence might not be the best but would have to sacrifice a mid or attacker to fund better defenders. Thoughts please?

That team looks pretty strong this week captain. If anything I’d be tempted on a sneaky -4 for Carroll. I’m guessing they won’t have him. Probably won’t make much of a dent in the 140 but Hull at home could get you a bit to start off.

Have just been looking at Carroll and that would leave me 0.7m ITB to upgrade a defender. His underlying stats are meant to be pretty good.
It would be a punt but a mate of mine transferred Rondon in last week and look where that got him!!

Is it worth a hit to do Iheanacho to Origi?

McAuley -> Rose or Foster -> Lloris?

Tough call there. Rose could possibly be rotated so Lloris would be a safer bet. I wouldn’t be taking McAuley out as he is a good threat going forward plus owned by 29% of players.
        Gundogen out for Zaha instead?

        • Pancho says:

Thanks captain, I would think about Zaha if I didn’t have Tekers already and I don’t want 2 palace against Chelsea :/
Lloris over Rose is probably safer but Rose has the chance at higher scores on a regular basis with attacking returns. Hmmmmmm
