Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 20 FPL News: We hope you enjoyed your 17 hours free from FPL and football in general! Yes, you read it right, GW19 ended last night and GW20 starts this morning. Now if that doesn’t smack of rotation then we don’t know what does. Obviously the teams are spread out in some sort of equal ‘ish’ fashion but there is also the issue of having so little time that some injuries will not be reported on. It’s a bit hit and hope in that respect at this time of year and so the team sheets will be eagerly anticipated and we begin at 12.30pm with ‘Boro hosting Leicester, followed by four 3pm games and today ends with Man united visiting West Ham. Tuesday evening see three games, before our week and Christmas period itself finally ends on Wednesday with Spurs hosting Chelsea amid echoes of a certain New Years Day fixture two years ago ending up 5-3 to the hosts, albeit a few days earlier than the anniversary.

Made one of the most riskiest decisions of my fantasy managerial career and transferred out Aguero for Giroud. This opens up a wealth of opportunities such as upgrading Ake to Koscielny and upgrading Phillips to Countinho.
However if Giroud doesn’t start each week my career is over smile

Dude you’re insane!!! The game week isn’t even 45 mins young and you’ve made that move! There’s knee-jerk and then there’s just plain stupid!
Please link your team mate I’m fascinated to see how you’re doing and how many transfers you must make on a weekly basis!

      • Waxys says:

Could be better hahah I’ve been very unlucky. I haven’t made a crazy amount of transfers a lot of what I post are just my plans smile

My logic with aguero is I’m not going to spend £13 on someone who isn’t a guranteed starter when I can upgrade my entire team for that much and get a striker who does start. And potentially get more points for way less.

        • Rosco77 says:

Fair enough mate but maybe wait till after the Arsenal match next time as he could get injured and it’s a long way to wait till the next GW!
I didn’t bring Kun in even though I wanted him as it would cause too much damage to my squad, not saying I won’t bring him in but need a little forward planning as I’m trying hard not too take hits!!

        • Waxys says:

Giroud is going up tonight smile so that rushed me a bit.

        • Waxys says:

The Arsenal game starts 4:50 am here haha so I’m not staying up that long. And I can’t afford my team if Giroud goes up.

Good start… even though I have Foster in goal.
