Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 27 FPL News: We are off!! Can you say goal-fest? Well, that is what managers who are backing Ibra and the newly minted Mickey Mouse Cup champions are hoping for, when United host the shambolic defending of the Cherries. After United put 5 on Bournemouth in the lunch time kick-off, we see five 3pm fixtures follow that. Leicester won’t have it as easy as they did last week vs LFC as they face Hull this week, Stoke and Boro match up in a fixture that a sadist might make someone watch. If that last fixture isn’t enough to bore someone to death, perhaps Swans vs Burnley on tape delay? If you have enough time, make sure to also check out Watford take on the Saints and The Baggies square off against Palace. That might be the worst package of five fixtures I have ever seen that start at the same time. If you somehow made it without jumping off a bridge to the last game of the day, congratulations. Luckily, the 5:30 game promises a bit more talent and two teams desperate for a result. When the Wenger In/Out crew tangles with perennial trolls Liverpool. That one should be fun and full of angst for both set of fans.

Sunday sees two fixtures. In what hopefully is the fixture of the week, Spurs tangle with the Toffees. These two are both in great form and bring star power with a Kane vs Lukaku match-up. In the late game, Sunderland welcome in City. The Black Cats who sit bottom need a result badly and City who are on the up, will be a very difficult home game, well, unless Pep does Peppy things and rotates his team into a loss.

Monday caps the game-week off when The Hammers host Chelsea. West Ham usually gives CFC some trouble at home, winning 2 of the last 4. So maybe this could be more entertaining than it appears on paper.

Not what I was hoping for but I’ve managed to get upto 30k and close the gap in my ML!

Need to take a couple of risks over the coming weeks before I activate my WC!

Anyone tempted with mane or a llorent cappo this GW?

    HL [Dr. Hannibal Lecter] says:

The fact that Martins Indi (12pts) has outscored both Sterling (6pts) & Aguero (9pts) this week – is all you need to know about this DGW !!

    Rosco77 says:

Well that’s the TC down the drain for the second season in a row! Aguero straight out for Kane in 29 without doubt (he’ll prob them bag a Hatty in 29 as per my current luck!! )

I feel like I bust my whole team up to get Kun and sterling in and it was a total waste of time!
What with this pointless DGW and BGW planning I now have a squad I don’t like and players I don’t want and nothing to show for it!

Sometimes I think we over think this FPL lark, guy in one of my mini leagues hasn’t made a transfer in weeks and constantly outscores me… and he’s got Milner and fletcher in his team!! DGW FML.

    Rant over.

I feel your pain. My ML is all casuals and I’m only top by a whisker. I don’t think they even know what a DGW is. Nights like this make me want to sack it off completely.

      • Rosco77 says:

Yup exactly the same here! It’s a rollercoaster of emotions, the highs are high the lows are grim!
Think I’m too passionate about it, I spend so much time and energy on it and none of the big decisions ever seem to work out!

      Brookyboy says:

It took a brave man not to gamble on one or two City players with a dgw with those fixtures. You were basically insuring yourself in case Aguero did score a couple of braces.Look at what he did during last seasons dgw !! But yeah sometimes ignorance is bliss !!

      Andy says:

Aye, I’m non too pleased with my team right now either, pondering just dropping my WC as soon as next GW kicks off to change it up a little, we can always just take that minus 2 hits for the other DGW’s if needed, unless of course you bring in Citeh players with Pep not using them twice.

      • Rosco77 says:

Think I’ll just take s few hits in 29 and shake my team up, I had cincidered WC but was planning to keep it for the DGWs but that’s probably a waste of my time and energy and I’ll likely only have it blow up in my face again! DGW … pah!!

        • Smash10 says:

Yeah my team is starting to look awful. Want to wait for the doubles to be announced and will probably load for that early by using the wild card. They are generally the top teams anyway

    Leprechaun says:

    Difficult to predict 0-0

City were far too pedestrian. Too much passing backwards and sloppy passing forward. No urgency in their game until the last 10 mins.
Silva made a difference but the rest were poor

And so, on to the next GW…

    Tekno-kun says:

Well that was a disappointment! What do we think guys, Sterling to Lanzini only or Aguero to Llorente for -4 as well?

    ChrisOllie25 says:

Glad I had Pieters, but disappointed in Aguero TC and Sterling not playing
