Live Match Chat Gameweek 34 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 34 FPL News: The frantic planning is now over and it’s time to sit back and hope that your double game-week players all see the pitch twice or indeed to hope that your single ones don’t come a cropper in the FA Cup before they get their FPL chance to shine in midweek. GW34 is fraught with danger whichever way you look at it but on the bright side there’s football aplenty this week! The gameweek begins late this week as we have four 3pm kick offs on Saturday and it’s basement battle time as 7 of the 8 featured teams could still technically be relegated. With no evening game Saturday will be over in the flash of an eye and then Sunday sees 2 of this weeks 3 DGW teams begin their quest as Man Utd go to Burnley in the early one before Palace visit Anfield in the later game. We then have a breather for a day before Chelsea and Southampton get us back under way on Tuesday night. Wednesday sees another three games before we finally conclude on Thursday evening with the Manchester derby.

The usual end of season desperation has set in for some teams and results are unpredictable.
I think Sun and Midd are gone but then it is any one of Swansea, Hull, Palace and Burnley.
Palace have horrible fixtures but do have Big Sam!

    Hi everyone.
Time to WC for me. Any thoughts one these first two drafts?

      Identical but for Zaha/Vardy // Sané/Jesus

I prefer it to the first option. How about Nyom to Stephens of S’Hampton the swap Forster for a cheaper option that might allow
You to upgrade NDong. Perhaps to King

        morning Vinci.

I think there is a lot of risk with it. Double Southampton is too much for me at the back with those fixtures. Will Gabriel lose his place to Mustafi or will he still play? Who knows yet what gametime Jesus gets and Gabbadini is also a risk as he is only coming back from injury. I guess the extra games could sway it in Southamptons favour – just not sure. Leicester have a couple of nice fixtures. Pickford maybe an option? The way Spurs are playing, I’d almost like 3 from them. Maybe even someone from Hull (defender or keeper) could be considered.

Thanks for the feedbacks, they make a lot of sense (double Southampton in defense, too many cumulated risks, freeing some money…).
Bottom line, I’d like to affors Haz+Sanchez, 1 Spur on each line, many Southsampton (and possibly Arsenal) since they have 2 DGWs, have a full DGW37 squad… But I need to find some decent balance in my team!
As I said, these were first drafts. I have some work to do this week!

Can’t wait to hit that transfer button on Negredo out, fingers crossed I may even go a little early and take him out before the second of Boro’s DGW fixtures, going down to 10 men away from home was hardly his fault but I’ll still take great satisfaction in that FT.

    Morning guys!

I’m still not regretting only having 3 DGW players ( honest) but looking at rivals team who already has 18 more points than me this GW and (C) Rash ( I went Sanchez) is scary!

Anyone else feel they are just needing to survive this week!!? Feel like I need to pull my sofa off the wall and hide behind it many times this week!!

Rosco – I have 4 DGW which isn’t that different from you and ML rival has 6. He deployed his WC for that to happen so not too worried cause I think he’ll pay the price of that in the coming fixtures. If you have and plan to WC36/BB37 I think your fine mate. Also capo Sanchez in this one may turn out to be a smart move depending on how Leicester recover from CL exit and how Arsenal deal with City today. Not too worried about Rash either tbh.
