Live Match Chat Gameweek 34 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 34 FPL News: The frantic planning is now over and it’s time to sit back and hope that your double game-week players all see the pitch twice or indeed to hope that your single ones don’t come a cropper in the FA Cup before they get their FPL chance to shine in midweek. GW34 is fraught with danger whichever way you look at it but on the bright side there’s football aplenty this week! The gameweek begins late this week as we have four 3pm kick offs on Saturday and it’s basement battle time as 7 of the 8 featured teams could still technically be relegated. With no evening game Saturday will be over in the flash of an eye and then Sunday sees 2 of this weeks 3 DGW teams begin their quest as Man Utd go to Burnley in the early one before Palace visit Anfield in the later game. We then have a breather for a day before Chelsea and Southampton get us back under way on Tuesday night. Wednesday sees another three games before we finally conclude on Thursday evening with the Manchester derby.

    Hey guys,

Just 2pts so far from 2 players and with a -8 hit that leaves -6 mmm?
Oh and 20pts sitting on my bench..Doh!
    Not panicking just yet tho.
Worked out I’ve still got 14 games to go.
Without my WC I’ve got some surgery to do for Gwk 37, was hoping to get 15 players with BB.
Who should I be bringing in next week willing to take a hit or two.
    Got 1ft & 2.2m ITB

    Team.
    DDG / Jaku
    Valencia / Alonso / Yoshi / Fernandez / Gibson
    Zaha / Ali / Eriksen / Sane / King
    Tekkers / Kane / Luka

How does this look for a hit?
      Zaha > Sanchez
      Luka > Gabiadini
      But then who to bench?

      Andy says:

I don’t think that you’ll get 15 DGW players in for GW 37 so don’t worry about it, I’d concentrate on getting an Arsenal player in for their DGW 36 (Ozil/Sanchez, I’d want Sanchez from the two but it’ll be easier to bring Ozil in for the budget.)

If you’re going for Ozil I’d shift Zaha for him after GW 35 and I’d downgrade one from DDG or Valencia this GW to save the cash for it,.

        Thx for the reply.
Yea ur probly right, a bit optimistic trying to get 15 Dgw players for 37
How’s ur week going and what plans u got.

        • Andy says:

Not a great one by all accounts, took a -4 on a GK (taking out Jakupovic) and put the (c) on Negredo, I do have 6 DGW players so theirs still time to turn the GW around.

I’m in the same boat with having played the earlier WC but I reckon having 11 or 12 players for GW 37 will be more than enough for the bench boost.

    Andy says:

    Man Utd XI

De Gea, Darmian, Bailly. Blind, Young, Herrera, Fellaini, Pogba, Lingard, Rooney, Martial

    Rashford on the bench.

    Burnley XI

    Heaton, who cares.

      Some more statistics :
Martials’ goal will cost UTD 10 mil Eur !
      That’s right smile .
It is his 25th goal for the Red Devils which activates Monaco’s clause in Martial’s agreement…
Considering UTD wants to sell him come end of season…
      Talk about timing…

      Andy says:

That’s a great goal, if it stays like this then theirs no need to bring Rashford on at all, young lad needs his rest and all that.

      Milburn says:

You bought Rooney as well as TCing Negrado? You really do like a gamble don’t you Constantine! Haha

      • constantine says:

Milburn, It was a calculated risk. I mean, Negredo was supposed to score against B’Mouth. But, bad luck that Ramirez got a red at the very early stages of the game. That changed the whole scenario really. He might have touched the ball only 3-4 times after that. Rooney’s selection was done after I read Jose saying that he needs his support in Ibra’s absence to save Utd. Was happy that he just started today, Goal is a bonus tbh.
