Live Match Chat Gameweek 34 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 34 FPL News: The frantic planning is now over and it’s time to sit back and hope that your double game-week players all see the pitch twice or indeed to hope that your single ones don’t come a cropper in the FA Cup before they get their FPL chance to shine in midweek. GW34 is fraught with danger whichever way you look at it but on the bright side there’s football aplenty this week! The gameweek begins late this week as we have four 3pm kick offs on Saturday and it’s basement battle time as 7 of the 8 featured teams could still technically be relegated. With no evening game Saturday will be over in the flash of an eye and then Sunday sees 2 of this weeks 3 DGW teams begin their quest as Man Utd go to Burnley in the early one before Palace visit Anfield in the later game. We then have a breather for a day before Chelsea and Southampton get us back under way on Tuesday night. Wednesday sees another three games before we finally conclude on Thursday evening with the Manchester derby.

    Survey for us here:
Who are the essential players for DGW 37?
    Pick 3 gks/defs (teams) — 3 mids — 2 forwards

No Willian, no Pedro, no Redmond.

    DMC how’s this?!?!

      DMC says:

Not impressed Pancho. Capoue, Fraser and possibly DDG to Bravo, Ndong and ok no idea who could come in for Fraser in that price bracket. Not bad for a Kane/Alli/Haz/Sanchez team though. This shows how tough it is though and let’s not get started on the Kun/Jesus situation.

      • Pancho says:

I agree DMC, I don’t love it either. I don’t have my WC, so I will only probably end up with 11 DGW players. I will probably keep Capoue because I think he’ll play both in their double. I don’t like the Fraser call. If I could afford King then I may keep him as a single GW player, but I probably wouldn’t use one of my limited transfers to get him. Tough one.
If Jesus and Kun play together up top then I might just go with Jesus and Sane. But I am afraid of not having Kun with their matches for the rest of the season. If Pep starts him every game then he is a must I think…

        • DMC says:

Oh sorry I thought this was a WC team! I cannot answer then without knowing who your selling but I’ll let you know I’m not keen on multiple hits for those that don’t have a WC . I believe one in that situation should look to get as many possible but not go all the way to -16 which is what your effort seems to show. As for Kun playing with Jesus I don’t think that will happen as a starting XI tactic so if Kun starts against Utd and at the weekend Jesus is a no go for me. Good for you you held onto Alonso at 6.4. I’m starting to see him as a must have for the double even if at 6.8!

DMC, thanks for the feedback! I have 2 fts this week and so i will have 4 over the next few weeks to set up. I think there are only a few players worth a hit for the DGW, so I will be very careful on those. If I’m going to take a hit or two it will be this week and for players who will stay in my squad for the remainder. City players have phenomenal fixtures, so I may take a hit this week for Sane. Not sure yet…

        • Mitro says:

Pancho – seeing as you don’t have a WC left you can activate our one next week 😉

I will say it again. Bloody Hazard and Costa. Nemesis capped Hazard and also has Costa. Ooooh, phone Automatically filled answer. Shit.

Here I go with my Negredo cappo. Shite. And picked up the flu. Shite.
