Managers of the Round Table – Fantasy Premier League 2014-15
We have gathered up six prestigious members / writers around Mito’s Round Table to answer a few quick fire questions in the lead up to the opening of the FPL season. They have been asked to make choices over some of the same key questions many of us are currently facing. As one would expect we got a wide range of varying answers, everything from a unanimous decision on formation to six different choices for Flop of the Year. See what our esteemed panel answered and please share your answers and views below, including that tricky last question. And don’t be shy; they sure weren’t when expressing their man crush.
Below is a self-described introduction to their FPL playing style.

Morning Cookie,
Looking forward to it. Great idea by the way. Will we all still be friends though at the end of it? You know what money can do to some.
NZ Alex (Owls Rule and 2 times Pottys prize winner!)

take with a pinch of salt, but this article suggests Man U may have to sell Rooney if the Vidal deal goes through

Can we discuss the merits of Costa V Hazard who would you have
geoffreys1
Strange site that one never know how much is bull or true on it
Burnsy
It’s neither mate, It’s opinion, based on vast knowledge of the game. You could take it with a pinch of salt or you can take it on board and improve you overall ranking.
Burnsy
(Ignore this reply, I thought you were referring to the fpl247 site)
photek
i think he was reffering to the link i put up
geoffreys1
I was!

I saw a stat showing how many big teams Lukaku scored against last year, it was like 5 out of his 15, this means he could be solid differential as not many others will have him, really fancy a punt on it.
The Gallant Pioneer
Burnsy,
As do I. It would take away my Dzeko v Jovetic quandry. But I would imagine his ownership will steadiliy rise now despite everton’s tricky opening spell. 9.6% ownership currently.
Burnsy
Not only that, they are home games as well for Eve, and Goodison is a fortress. It’s not unthinkable that they can win both games.
The Gallant Pioneer
Burnsy,
Definitely. Not inconceivable at all as Everton are a really good side particularly at home. When you factor in that one is Chelsea who he will have additional motivation for, it isn’t the wildest punt in history is it?
Three out of five at home plus away trips to Leicester & West Brom to start the season – he could score well. I’m talking myself in to getting him in. Only on gameweeks 6 & 7 when it is Liverpool and Man U back to back away, would I consider benching him.
Burnsy
Yeah, those fixtures on Gwk6-7 are the only turnoff, but if your playing an early wildcard, its something that can easily be taken advantage of. Or if not then just a transfer him out for someone who has better fixtures. eg. Bony.
The Gallant Pioneer
Burnsy
I would either play him or bench him and play my extra midfielder and then bring him back in for what is a very nice run of games GW8 onwards.
Burnsy
Good shout, I ignored his fixtures from week 7 onwards so thanks for mentioning, I’m actually really considering this move, but is it worth dropping Costa? Decisions… Decisions…
