They have been asked to make choices over some of the same key questions many of us are currently facing. As one would expect we got a wide range of varying answers, everything from a unanimous decision on formation to six different choices for Flop of the Year. See what our esteemed panel answered and please share your answers and views below, including that tricky last question. And don’t be shy; they sure weren’t when expressing their man crush.

  1. Does anyone here play Fantasy NFL?
    Thinking of giving it a whirl this season.

    • I’ll be playing, i’m waiting for the Sky one to open personally. I can’t wait for the new season and hope the Jets make the playoffs (unlikely!)

        Good stuff. Is the sky one decent? Was looking at the ESPN one. Seems to be the big one in the US.

        • I play. I might be forming a league. Believe Andy & Kop want to give it a go. If I can find 10-12 managers who won’t abandon their team and believe they can stick with it, I will be happy to open one up.

        • Thats what i was hoping to join. Me and some mates tried to organise a 10 team league but could only get 6 – half of which would have never changed there teams

        • I am waiting for Albert to pop up any minute. Everytime anyone mentions a new fantasy game he pops up.

  2. I was going to last year but never got round to it. I dont really have a clue which is the best, the only reason i was going to pick Sky was because they kept flashing ads for it every quarter using cheerleaders. Hard to say no!

I have finished my interactive season fixture tracker guys smile It will hopefully be promoted and explained a bit better soon, but for now anyone that wants to is welcome to use it and share it! I only ask that the only editing you do is in the suggestions tab – if you want to make your own changes (and that is basically the whole point after all) then save your own copy, thanks.

      • Sorry init, hate sitting on things! My gf gets presents for people months in advance but I can’t bear the thought.. I’d still love it to be a mini-article; that’s how people will see it. Reckon hardly anyone will see it in this lowly post! But what the hell, if it helps a few people in the meantime then it’s all good.

        I will only need to write a few sentences and take a couple of screenshots for you, the hard work is done smile

    • Awesome work Calvin, I’m confused though, what does the blue stand for?

      • Thanks Burnsy! Blue = walkover haha. If you aren’t a fan you can change it to a different shade of green though, or any other colour for that matter. Instructions how are in the ‘How It Works’ tab.

        • It was just that Arsenal vs Hull was blue and I thought why is that blue and not green?

    Think Im FINALLY settling on my team… thoughts?
    Mannone
    Shaw, Ben Davies, Wisdom
    Mata Sanchez Siggy Eriksen
    Rooney Costa Dzeko
    Krul, El Ahmadi, Duff, Neil Taylor

    So looking at mainly playing Shaw and Davies and Neil Taylor competing with Wisdom and Duff for the 3rd defender spot.
    I think Sanchez will be a massive hit and basically be a striker.
    Thoughts?? Thanks in advance

    • Looking good, however, I would want a 4 defenders that play week in, week out. Unusre about those you mentioned. Also, fifth mid could also be Albright.

        Can swop my 5th mid, not really phased haha
        the 2 4m defenders have very good chance of playing regularly I think. Wisdom doesnt have much competition (but will see what the Nigerian is capable of soon) and taking a punt on Duff (from what ive read). Taylor will play LB now and start for them. So should Davies with Spurs.

        brought in Albrighton now, you rate his a nailed on starter?

        • Look at that face. How can he not be a starter? Maybe ask Innit or other peepz here (I’m just going with the mass when it comes to Albrighton :P)? Only prob is that they have terrible fixtures to start with. If he plays he will def. get more points than El Ham, I think. Doubt you’ll be using your 5th mid, fourth and fifth defender will be used more often. Both are 4,5m, it’s your choice mate.

        • Raz I think after all the heart ache Im done with the team haha (bar big signings or some major inside info that will soon be discovered haha)

          I figured I was done with my team. But before deadline I still made some last minute changes. If everybody stays fit and nothing weird happens you have gold in your hands. laugh

          Lastly… Duff, Upson or Bruce?
          Dont know Duff or Upson… Bruce will start if Hull go with 3 at the back with Davies and Chester, but its not a sure thing sad

  5. Starting to doubt if the reports on the Vidal medical are true. Other reports say van Gaal is willing to wait for Strootman, his number 1 priority is a central defender (Hummels/Vermaelen).

    • Haha no shit sherlock! laugh Twitter and all paper are just attention biznatches trying to sell ink! 😉 But hopefully Soon Vidal shall join the ranks of the Red Devils!

      Also saw Sturridge and Wellbeck at UFC events. Ibrahimovic and Nigel de Jong are the only football players that have potential. 😉

      Hmmm, Babel and Royston Drenthe were more interested in their crappy rap career than football, lmao. Wasted.
