Managers of the Round Table – Fantasy Premier League 2014-15
We have gathered up six prestigious members / writers around Mito’s Round Table to answer a few quick fire questions in the lead up to the opening of the FPL season. They have been asked to make choices over some of the same key questions many of us are currently facing. As one would expect we got a wide range of varying answers, everything from a unanimous decision on formation to six different choices for Flop of the Year. Don’t think the Hull result/team told us too much tonight really. Typical cagey away performance going by the updates I was following. Golden chanced missed by Huddlestone though. Wonder if he will still be on the penalties come the league season. I do think Hull are too risky to select from unless you are going McGregor, Long or Jelavic so I may pass.

coming to that conclusion myself – always wary of the Europa leaguers anyway to be honest. often involves long journeys on a Thursday to the back of beyond.

Planning for no Hull coverage now I think, Would only look at McGregor and I’m happy with my Krul/Sunderland rotation.

Probably wing back so either in a back five or midfield five depending on how you view it.! Wouldn’t expect him to be there all the time bearing in mind Figueroa and Robertson are specialised in that position.

Could be cookster. High pitch voice not so much . I’ll be singing though. Singing beard man that is.
As for music taste, you don’t have a clue, do you? The the 60’s and 70’s are more my cup of tea. Also, old school hiphop and Tupac/cypress hill/immortal technique.

I think the defence needs a rethink. Jones is too injury prone and his position is not really that secure. I would downgrade him to some Stoke coverage (Huth, Pieters or Bardsley) and upgrade Bentaleb to Steven Davis.
I’m assuming Duff will play but not so sure about Mariappa so have a 4.5 replacement ready.

Hey Jeet – I have no idea who will play at Chelsea but would not bet on Luis starting yet.
Jones – I suspect he will play once fit even if united buy a cb. Simpson, Duff and Mariappa isnt hugely strong but then again should be able to pick one or two if needed.

Raz – whats the scoop on van AAholt? Attacking full back? Conservative?

At first I was planning on getting him, unsure now. I do have Janmaat and he rotates perfectly with this kid. Janmaat can play every week though (except against the bigger teams). Hmmm, well. Van Aanholt scored 4 goals and had 3 assists last season. But that was in the eredivisie. He’s got good dribbling skills and is fast. We’ll just have to see. He’s not bad, just unsure about Sunderland at the moment.

Aaah yes, he’s a leftback but can also play midfield I think. But he’ll play leftback. Not conservative, he likes going forward if he can.

Would be some coup for the ammers! Im struggling to get into normal FF this season as my main mini league has gone all Ultimate on me!Will try doing both but its a bit of a job.Im also trying to get an article together about The art of picking a captain in FF,just trying to get some quiet time for a few hours to get some ideas down seems impossible though!I should have something for u lot to peruse by end of the weekend!
