Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News Gameweek 7

If you can’t do something properly… get someone else to do it!

We are back as ever with our predicted line-ups in conjunction with / courtesy of Drafthound. The usual warnings apply here: please take this as their / our best guess as to the line-ups, but it will never ever be 100% accurate, such is the nature of attempting to do so.

Two things to bear in mind;

  • We trust Drafthound. They will have done their research into all this, especially given what they do, just as we used to, but these things are a ‘best guess’ exercise at best. Usual leeway should be accounted for, etc.
  • Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.

Looking at the next 6 fixtures, who would you pick as a budget defender:

    A) Manquillo
    B) Duffy (already have Sanchez in net)
    C) Taylor (Burnley)
    D) anyone else under 4.5mil?

Hi guys, how’s this looking for a Ronaldo-less WC?

I got Sanchez in there as I remember Mendy being randomly rested last season, I’ve still got 0.5 itb even with him there. Looks like Mendy will get more save points and bonus points this season too.

    Best TAA place holder? Tierney?

It’s also possible to get Ramsdale for Mendy and Azpi for TAA, that leaves me enough money to to Livra to TAA when he’s fit again. Though that would give me five premiums at the back and a benching headache every week.

    Thoughts appreciated!

That looks unbalanced mate, if I’m being totally honest. Two Chelsea at the back with a TAA placeholder is fine but no need for the rest as it makes the midfield look so weak. I’d recalibrate and upgrade some of those cheapies to Sarr and Benhrama and I’d prefer Toney up top as the cheap one to ASM myself.

Hi everyone! I think im gonna take a -8pt hit sad
    TAA/Torres/Bamford to Marcel/ESR/Lukaku
Next week will do James to Cancelo and will probably aim at Lukaku/Marcel/ESR to Jesus/TAA/Gallagher by gw12-13
No single move tempts me and hoping this route should pay back over the coming weeks. Couple of questions though….
1- ESR/Cancelo vs Gallagher/Alonso (will Chillwell disrupt Alonso)
2 – Cancelo/Marcel(who would rotate with White & Livramento) or Thiago Silva/Walker at the cost of an extra hit
3 – Sánchez to Ramsdale for a -4 before priced out? Surely that will be repaid?, if not this gw(Ars v Bri), then 99% over Sánchez’s looming City/Liverpool double?
4 – Best captain out of Lukaku, Ronaldo, Salah, (Antonio & Raphina options too)?
    Cheers

Feels like you are over complicating this, perhaps compounding issues weekly by doing so.

Perhaps just grab a replacement defender, let the rest take its course then chill out and take stock over the break. A few of those injuries will fix themselves in that time anyway.

Ole’s injury update. Not very helpful, as usual.
