Welcome to FPL Team Gameweek 12

It is easy to lose track, during the yawning international break, just how well you may have done in the previous week. A very healthy 31 POINTS above the weekly average was an extremely pleasant surprise for the FF247 bigwigs when we reconvened last night. We had some very well-performing players who combined to help us reach 73 points for the week which took us to 128,011 overall. We are back on track and very pleased.

We start off by mentioning the strikers last week. Right, that’s that done. That’s all we really can say about 5 points combined from messrs Antonio, Toney and Vardy.

Chuck in the other 2-pointers in Rudiger and Benrahma and that’s the rot out of the way!

We are very proud owners of Raphinha (9), Emile Smith-Rowe (8) and of course (captain) Salah with – only an assist – but still double figures with 10.

The trio of Trent, Cancelo and *drumroll* BEN FOSTER were our top performers this week landing us a total of 37 point between them.

It doesn’t matter where the points come from, so long as they come!

Our Gameweek 12 Transfer(s)

With one free transfer, a little kitty there to spend and patience exasperated with JV9, we turn towards the four-goal slayer of the San Marino, Harry Kane.

Suggested, seconded, thirded and fourthed in quick time, we awaited team news or any surprises before we completed the transfer.

To confirm then we have SOLD JAMIE VARDY and BOUGHT HARRY KANE

Captain – MOHAMED SALAH

Arsenal may be getting their act together but it is still Salah at home and we have faith in the Egyptian Magician.

Worst case, we have Sammarinese Smasher Harry Kane picking up the armband on Sunday dinner (tea) time.

  2. Trying to get funds for Vardy to Kane. Should i:-

    Downgrade Christiansen to a 4.0 def (williams, johnson, or manquillo) and have to play Gray every week or Downgrade Gray to a 4.7 mid (brownhill, Alan, Norman) and play christiansen every week?

  3. Still on the fence here. Thinking leave front three as is. Vardy may do well after next week (where there’s life there is hope right?) and Toney out after NEW.

    Am I too later for the James train? Worth a transfer of Rudi out for him? Or save FT.
    1.9mib 1FT. Maybe Ronnie or Luka down the line.

    Bench order ok? Is Robertson fit or should I put Tsimi in the line up?

    • Does not sound like Foden is badly hurt. I would hold him in case he starts. You have White to come in if he does not. Nice team.

  5. Got 1FT and 0,2itb.. Now that foden is a doubt would you sell him for jota with this weak bench or is this good to go?

    • Think he could start. Does not sound like a bad injury. Put Brownhill first on bench.
      Is Bachman playing again? Thought Foster was GK now?

      • Foden should start, unless Pep wants him to fully recover for the PSG game on Wednesday.

        • psg game not so important. both have qualified for knockouts. only question who will be first in group?

        • I reckon PSG game will be seen as really important. They will want to go strong to prove a point for sure. That will be full strength I expect

        • Yep, City would want to finish top of the group and that is still in the balance.
          After this round PSG will host Club Brugge and Man C will travel to Leipzig.

  6. I still don’t know what to do, I have the exact cash for Jota and Kane in for Vardy snd Foden. I’m reluctant to sell Foden though I do want rid of Vardy. No idea on bench either

    • As a Spurs fan, I’m worried that Raph may unlock our defence so put him 1st on the bench. I’ve kept him in my team

    • Do you think Foden has a high chance of coming off bench? I like the Jota & Kane in but it looks like something to decide tomorrow morning…hoping to know more about Foden.

      • Might get priced out I guess. Embargoed stuff later tonight I guess. Must admit I’m reluctant to sell him: just funds Kane. No idea they kind of need him

      • This is the prediction from Drafthound which we’ll see later.
        Bilva for Foden should open an easy way to Kane.

    • If I do nothing I can do this next week
