Welcome to Site FPL Team GW15
It’s always frustrating when you’re 0.1 short of your favoured transfer. Worse still, to have to watch said player (Jota) get on the score-sheet and the fallback option (Lukaku) fail to make the starting 11, and then do nothing in the minutes (21) that he did get. Our GW14 score makes for grim reading. Only 3 of our 11 returned; Salah (obviously) Raphinha (fortuitously) and Smith-Rowe (controversially). A paltry 12 points from our other 8 made a bad game-week one to forget – fast. Lucky for us (yay) we’re straight back into it.
57 points total, 1 below the average and a big juicy red arrow that sees us drop to 162k. Not the end of the world.
Our GW14 Result…
We have £1.8m ITB and 1 FT as we quickly jump to GW15. What did we decide to do with that!
Our GW15 Transfer(s)
What we should have done last week. The process was very quick, with a majority of four carrying the move before the other 3 (that make up the committee) had even had a chance to respond. Gallagher to Jota was the move, quickly seconded, thirded and fourthed… now I’m just making up words. This move was less about anything that Gallagher has done wrong, and more about what Jota has done right, and of course what the potential damage of not owning him will make.
We have the exact cash to make the move and we’ll not be hanging around to watch Diogo rise again. Who said we don’t learn from our mistakes eh?
Looking ahead, the wildcard that’s been somewhat forgotten about will likely come into play soon. We have issues, Bachmann in goal (although Watford fixtures do pick up soon) the forgotten man Ayling sat bandaged up on our bench perpetually and a few players who have a fixture turn (for the worse). Then there’s Antonio and Toney, but I’m sure we’re not alone with a decision on what to do with that pair. We’ve done well to hold it this long, but with our focus moving to the Xmas period and a fixture turn for a certain Manchester side who play in red, the wait could almost be over. Watch this space.
To confirm then we have SOLD Gallagher and BOUGHT Jota
Captain – Salah
It’s getting boring right? But we’re not going to be the first to blink. Another unanimous vote this week (from the four who bothered to actually contribute) with the armband once more entrusted to the Egyptian king. Lukaku retains the VC with hopes he makes the starting 11 this week.

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News Gameweek 15
We’ll do away with the wordy intro as you should all be au fait with the new layout of this by now.
As a quick reminder –
There are two versions of this article.
The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.
The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.
What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.
As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.
Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.

Morning
Think I’m going to roll my FT; good to go?
Would put the (V) on Son just in case.
+1
Done – thank you
This is me. Possibly the first time I’ve ever gone 5 at the back!!
Haa, have just decided to go 5 atb as well. Good luck.
And you
I feel 5 defenders is the way to go this GW. Only Reguilon & Cooper got all 3BPs as defenders & I feel TAA, James & Cancelo will score big this GW
Let’s hope you’re right!!!
All 3 could easily lose their clean sheet. Maybe trent keeps a cs. Of course attacking pts they can get.
Don’t be such a killjoy
All 5 could, in theory.
Make that 3, yes and 1st time by choice anyway
To play Mbeumo or not ??? Or who ??
Play antonio or dennis instead of mbuemo. Perhaps dennis the form. Man
Would you bench Dennis this week of you’ve just got him in? Any one else tempted to captain TAA instrad of Salah?
It’s a gamble but at the mo over 60% fpl managers are still betting on Pharaoh this GW
Predicted Line-Ups is also live now, sort of….
We’ve added it to the end of the above article, which may be where it lives over Christmas as it looks mightily tight on space inbetween many upcoming GW’s.
Hi guys
Gtg? Or if Livra to play, with whom?
Dennis is the only real option.
Thanks innit
For Dennis
Does it make sense to play livramento over Antonio?
That’s a toss up.
It is 50/50. I think keep it as you have it.
I had to choose between White and Toney. I conned myself that the latter has the higher ceiling, so went with him. Maybe think along those lines. Antonio could explode
In all seriousness, I think Toney or Antonio could explode – it’s just that recently they’ve both been quite tame, but Toney against Leeds might just snick in a goal or 2. Same with the WHU striker, who on his day could emulate Geoff Hurst’s feats (if he was so inclined).
Ah…predicting the performances of footballers, it’s like leading horses to water! 😉
I’ve chosen to play Toney and tuck Antonio onto the bench, with one of those jazzy blankets they use for players waiting their moment of gloire! We shall see – perhaps someone like White or Livramento will go into a wild mauling of oppositions and prove (some of) us wrong!
I think I am if it helps
