Above average/below expectation
So we have suffered only our second captaincy fail of the season with CR7 bringing us – and many – the miserable 4 points. Ugh.
Probably explains why we just about snuck over the average line by three points when in most other weeks so far we’ve been miles ahead of the average. Proof, if it were ever needed, that captaincy is critical.
We scored 46 points in Gameweek 6 to take us to 221,616 via the dreaded RED arrow.
Not panicking yet but we have some questions requiring answering soon, if not very soon.
Raphinha, Antonio and our new signing Saint-Maximin brought us (8) points a piece and Salah just behind on seven. The rest (including said captain) doesn’t merit the bashing of the keyboard and you can see for yourself below.

Our Gameweek 7 Transfer(s)
With Luke Ayling and Trent Alexander-Arnold definitely out and doubts over Shaw (and previously) Raphinha coupled with the usual doubts over Ferran Torres due to City rotation, our discussions this week have been a minefield. I’ve had more enjoyable trips to the dentist to be honest!
We didn’t go ahead with the Wildcard as previously expected. A few wise heads (they are there sometimes) felt next week was better and the rest went with it.
So we are scrambling around to get 11 players on the pitch (we will probably have to rely on Torres due to the known injuries) and therefore we need to deal with what we know for sure and we’ve FINALLY come to a decision in this regard.
Tsimikas won’t play and Rudiger will. We don’t want to lose money on Trent. We’re banking on Shaw.
To confirm then we have SOLD KOSTAS TSIMIKAS and BOUGHT ANTONIO RUDIGER

This was a close run one. 5 votes taken with three for Michy and two for Ronnie, who has therefore got the vice as consolation.

Yes. Longer term I would deal with Torres. You don’t want to be in the situation a lot of us are in this week (doubts about Shaw starting plus numerous other injury worries) whilst also having no idea whether one of your starting XI will play or not.

Morning everyone,, So I’ve hit the big red wild card button and this is what I’ve come up with at the moment with .5 left in bank
What Do you think ? My other option is to maybe drop Vardy and Sarr for lukaku and doucoure. I wanted to get at least two Chelsea players in and the defence and midfield seem to provide good priced options,, any suggestions or thoughts most welcome
I’d get Lukaku now if you’re on a wildcard, and instead of Ronnie I think and then upgrade elsewhere (e.g. Gray, Pinnock or Livra/Duffy)

I did that move but not for a hit so sort of half recommend it!
I don’t think you need the hit but it is a move I like so much the same as Init. I have recommend it.
Hi guys had a reshuffle after earlier suggestions for WC. struggling a bit. but here is latest effort. I think its upgraded the defence and midfield now £0-2 left in the bank, any help or suggestions please
Lots of money in that defence. I’ve heard lots of rumours about Alonso not starting this week. I also don’t really like Kovacic or Jesus in that side but maybe I’ll be proven wrong. Think it needs a bit more work to be fair, although I don’t know what the earlier comments were.
I’d probably downgrade one of those defenders, change Kovacic and Jesus. Rest looks alright though.
May as well lose Reguilon. Downgrade Jesus to say Toney and get someone for Kovacic – he’s not a 4th mid, I probably wouldn’t even consider him for a 5th.
I wouldn’t be touching a Spurs defender with the form they are in right now. Your defence is very premium, I agree with innit you can downgrade Jesus to Toney or ASM and use the funds elsewhere. ESR instead of Kova perhaps.
ok here is another go. i’m really struggling here
