Since I have used my TC chip in the qualifiers, for the purpose of points calculation for this league,
please consider TC Guptill, regular Captain as Neesham and VC as Mitchell Marsh for the final.
I have no transfers left so cant change my team now anyways.

Hair is going a paler shade of grey during this match! Looking like they had collapsed, then a resurgence (albeit with 2 vital wickets lost), I’m starting to appreciate that it’s ‘the hope that kills you!’ Entertaining stuff! Whoever wins will have earnt it!

Nobody did. 2 incredible fightbacks. First by NZ then by Aus.
2 highly improbable victories by the chasing team especially after losing early wickets.
That Hasan Ali drop a huge blow for the Paks.
Mitchell, Neesham, Wade, Stoinis.. these were not the fancied big names yet these guys put their team to the final

Its T20 cricket, very hard to predict a winner.
Wade has been around for a while. Was out of the team for a few years and on the back of a couple of good domestic seasons got back into the team ahead of a couple of very good keeper/batsmen (Carey & Inglis). Has been opening for his Big bash team and has also opened for Australia recently, so when he came in i was still feeling we were a chance.
Gave a cheer and a few fist pumps at 5am

That Warner decision looked like it had done it for them but fair play for coming through like that.
England could have gone all the way if they hadn’t suffered all those injuries. It was a bit makeshift to begin with sans Stokes and Archer so to test the depth below the depth was always going to be a stretch.
Should be a cracking final anyway.
Decent tournament, just a shame with the dew issue etc.
The timings next year may be a bit of an issue for us though Kop! I may have to take 6 weeks off work and become a day sleeper.

it was a good tournament. I think the players and fans are starting to take T20 cricket more serious.
i’ll take a bit of dew instead of rain and washout games. Amazing to play cricket and know there is Zero chance of it being delayed or abandoned.
