New Zealand v Australia
Cookie is going for glory with his x2 booster, not sure what the difference was before the start, but he’s going well
Didn’t notice he hadn’t played it. Thought everyone would have same players, same score.

What a good match to watch on a rainy Sunday arvo, with a ton of work in front of me!
Good on NZ to have laid down the foundations of a huge match. Honestly thought that total was impossible to match. They’re really humble and very likeable – dunno if it hasn’t swayed me into getting Wood in (from Burnley!) at some stage this year! Good evening to you all!
Mitchell summed them up with that refused run vs Rashid in the 18th over of the semi. Sportsmanship turned up to 11. Can’t have anything but the upmost respect for them after that. Oddly that was the one takeaway moment from the tournament for me.
I just wish it had garnered more publicity as it should be held up to kids (and everyone) as an example of how to behave. If he’d done something despicable it’d be all over the news.
The best moment of the tournament for me was Jordans athletic attempt to save a six which he then unfortunately knocked onto the boundary
It was the double bouncer that Warner put 96 meters into the grandstand.
Semi final was in the balance
The turning point of the tournament for me was Hasan Ali (probably literally) dropping the World Cup when he dropped Wade.
Had he caught it, the equation would have been 20 off 9 with a new batsmen. Instead Wade was dropped, 2 runs and then BAM 6 6 6.
I watched the reply of the Aussie vs pak semi.

ball 3: Wade toe-end a slog sweep to boundary, dropped – 2 runs

ball 5: pull for 6
ball 6: ramp for 6.
As always, I thoroughly enjoyed the fantasy cricket!
Roll on The Ashes
We have our local Aussie Big Bash T20 starting in a few weeks. I’ve played the Big bash fantasy the last few years and its always been fun. Rules are much different than the ICC Fantasy, closer to the EPL where there are rounds and you can only update your teams between each round and the players price changed based on their points.

The Ashes.. Just realised that the 5th test details are wrong here, Perth has been dropped because of Covid, This is now a day/night test in Hobart, 4.00am GMT start
Off topic..Fantasy cricket, the Ashes, has anybody got a league up and running? for some reason i can’t get into the Dream 11 site anymore, not sure why!
I haven’t been able to find a fantasy Ashes game!
I was wondering if our Aussie friends or any body else had 1 Kop? It seems the Dream 11 site has gone full Indian on me, keeps asking me for my phone number, even if i wanted to add it i can’t change the international dialling code on it!
There’ll be one from India for sure. Waiting. Will win this time.

I think I prefer this ashes fantasy, it’s more fpl, pick a squad of 15, put 11 on the pitch, auto-subs, max of 5 transfers after each test, 2 free and the other 3 if used at a cost of 30pts each
