4,660 and counting….
This does what it says on the tin and not a jot more. It’s a place for those who are playing it to post comments without bothering the FPL’ers.
For ease of use for those playing there is a link to this in the Hot Comments thing above the latest comments.

Hey guys – what’s going on? The first day’s play – get up to watch the remainder of the day’s play – check out proceedings thus far on The Guardian online, and discover that rained has interrupted the game I thought it was in Australia this year??? Rain in Brisbane??? The Barmy Army must have perfected their drunken rain dance tactic, in order to ensure a draw!
Good luck to you all – hope the Australian press has become more sensible and less jingoistic – they tend to be rather a silly one-sided, nationalistic lot when it comes to Ashes series!
Cheerio everyone! Gonna read the Xmas fixtures article now! 😉
Tmrw 4am GMT 2nd Test:
Playing XI has been named (mostly):
Australia 1 David Warner, 2 Marcus Harris, 3 Marnus Labuschagne, 4 Steven Smith, 5 Travis Head, 6 Cameron Green, 7 Alex Carey (wk), 8 Pat Cummins (capt), 9 Mitchell Starc, 10 Jhye Richardson, 11 Nathan Lyon
England 1 Rory Burns, 2 Haseeb Hameed, 3 Dawid Malan, 4 Joe Root (capt), 5 Ben Stokes, 6 Ollie Pope, 7 Jos Buttler (wk), 8 Chris Woakes, 9 Ollie Robinson, 10 Stuart Broad/Jack Leach, 11 James Anderson
I expect England will pick Broad over Leach.
Cummins has been ruled out of the 2nd test, Smith will captain and Nesser to come in.
The Ashes.
Australia won the toss and will bat 1st
The Ashes 3rs test, 11.30pm GMT Deadline tonight, no chance of me getting up at 7.30am Boxing day morning here in Hong Kong, so I’ve done my changes now before bed!
The Ashes
Gotta love the cricket on Christmas night!
Another defeat incoming no doubt
Naturally!
England 185
Australia 61-1
Aha England may have found a way not to lose. One of the family group tested positive.
