The Boot Room – Rate My Team GW 5 – FPL Fantasy Football Premier League
Game-week 4 is over and the International Break is under way, for many (including the FF247 team) this means wildcard time. So if you are looking for a bit of help on your new squad or simply feel the need to discuss any future transfers, you have come to the right place. We will also be receiving managers in need of a shoulder to cry on. Because frankly, after this 4 week span a tear or two is understandable.
So please feel free as ever, to post your thoughts, questions and feelings about whatever you want to, but in particular if you would like others to take a look at your team ahead of GW5 and beyond and offer their opinions. Please post or link it below and we are sure you will get plenty of feedback. Some of which may actually be constructive, but we can’t promise anything!
Rogers is doing the same to Liverpool so should be a good game on the 12th!!!
What have I just read? Bentekers injury?
Hip/Thigh Injury
Oooh, that might actually be a positive thing. If dude is injured for ummm 3 days and he’s not injured the day later they will put him back to 0 right?
Thats Sturridge and old news!!
Where u hearing that Raz?
Apparently De Gea isn’t leaving United after all. Guillem Balague on Twitter “The documents did not arrive on time!!!!!! Presentation was ready. All agreed. But as it stands de Gea stays at MUFC!!”
Haha, gotta love deadline day. And all the clubs that leave things until the last minute.
They really screwed that up. £29m was a great deal for Utd. Now they’ll be lucky to get anything. Have a feeling Real might get some special favour by La Liga though…..
For once I hope so. De Gea going away on a free would be a travesty! Ideal scenario is he stays and agrees a new deal with United as a courtesy for a payment next summer, but can’t see it happening.
I suppose he could still leave in January. Would almost certainly be for less money though.
Considering the lack of decent CB Utd have they could depend on him again this season like the last 2. A month ago I thought they’d done great transfer business and since then they’ve been useless
The amount of money spent over the last couple of seasons is staggering, so to still have such glaring weaknesses is beyond comprehension as far as I’m concerned. That and constantly playing people in the wrong positions.
Hey there peeps. Well, tonight Ayew is rightfully in the squad of ‘Who Ayew?’ at last, but only because I’m on a WC and hope to make 0.1m out of him…
…do you think he deserves a permanent place?
Currently: Sanchez – Pedro – Silva – Mahrez – Sinclair
Tough because he’s a man in form but in the long run I’d back Sanchez, Pedro and Silva to outscore him eventually, taking Gomis as a forward could lessen the blow as at least you’d have Swansea attacking coverage.
My thoughts exactly Andy… my forwards are Aguero – Diouf – Wilson at present.
Gomis > Wilson for the season, probably, but Stoke’s fixtures tempt me too much aha!
*Gomis > Diouf
I’m with you guys (normally a bad sign, I’m afraid…)
Ayew is one of many exciting mids, whereas Gomis is pretty much the only forward in the league who can run, hold the ball up, shoot and jump for headers.
Plus, I did not like the way Ayew was used ob the first half against ManU… Gomis is upfront, whatever the formation
Will Myhill still start even with the Lindegaard signing?
When is Van Dijk price going to come out?
What will his price most probably be?
