The Boot Room – Rate My Team GW 5 – FPL Fantasy Football Premier League
Game-week 4 is over and the International Break is under way, for many (including the FF247 team) this means wildcard time. So if you are looking for a bit of help on your new squad or simply feel the need to discuss any future transfers, you have come to the right place. We will also be receiving managers in need of a shoulder to cry on. Because frankly, after this 4 week span a tear or two is understandable.
So please feel free as ever, to post your thoughts, questions and feelings about whatever you want to, but in particular if you would like others to take a look at your team ahead of GW5 and beyond and offer their opinions. Please post or link it below and we are sure you will get plenty of feedback. Some of which may actually be constructive, but we can’t promise anything!

Already have Kun and WIlson. Benteke could come good and it’s not like United are this supersquad. United away in a derby could have 3-3 written all over it, or 3-5. Lol, I remember a few seasons back Kuyt scoring a hattrick against a back then good United. :p

Yes, take the hit. Not really sure over Gomez, Yoshi, Oxford and Darmian.

Gomez is a cheap route into a Top 6 teams defense.
Yoshi provides Saints cover, started all their games and fighting for his spot.
Oxford is a cheapie that can play
Darmian seems to be decent and gaining in confidence as he plays.
Yoshi and Oxford wont be my main defenders
So use the WC?

Ayew, Tadic, Sako, pedro, silva, sterling, payet, redmond, hoolahan

dont think u need to wc. Your keepers and defence have issues but you can probably rotate defends are for a bit till you sort them. Sort ur keeper first then sort ur defence. Strikers are fine, mid is ok. You could wc just I dont think its urgent

You need to sort out Romero and Cedric, both have really tough fixtures coming up. Dont like Kosc, he is an expensive liability and you need to get Kolarov soon.
Apart from that, I dont think you need other changes, probably hold WC for now.
Hennessey > Myhill, if you have money.

Yeah goalie and defence is your main prob, rest is good. Today Romero showed what I’ve come to expect from him the past few years. Remains a mediocre goalie that shouldn’t even get the first spot at Watford. I rate Gomis much higher than this dude. And we all know how bad Gomis failed at Spurs a couple of years ago.

It’s funny, I remember Soton have a real good GW last season winning 7-1 versus …………………………………… Sunderland? Also Tadic owning that shit. For some reason you can’t really rely on them though. The fact they’re out of Europe is a real positive though.

Tough one. I think i prefer the GK switch. Hart is about the only premium priced GK who’s worth a flutter at this stage so i’d maybe get Myhill in there. I have him myself, should score well over the next couple of months.
