The Boot Room – Rate My Team GW 5 – FPL Fantasy Football Premier League

Photo-02-01-2014-11-40-06-300x214 Game-week 4 is over and the International Break is under way, for many (including the FF247 team) this means wildcard time. So if you are looking for a bit of help on your new squad or simply feel the need to discuss any future transfers, you have come to the right place. We will also be receiving managers in need of a shoulder to cry on. Because frankly, after this 4 week span a tear or two is understandable.

So please feel free as ever, to post your thoughts, questions and feelings about whatever you want to, but in particular if you would like others to take a look at your team ahead of GW5 and beyond and offer their opinions. Please post or link it below and we are sure you will get plenty of feedback. Some of which may actually be constructive, but we can’t promise anything!

  2. Poor gameweek, 35 points..
    any suggestions who to replace? Yaya, Barkley or maybe Costa?
    I’m thinking of getting another Man City defender, because at the moment looks like we can’t rely on any attacking player

      A long way to go before the deadline but I would consider dropping Costa down to Pelle and using those saved funds to get Silva.

      I would rather have two attacking City players moving forward as two defenders. The points will be greater I’m sure.

  3. 56 points this week and Depay are officially out after scoring big once agian, Ayew in. Also saved 1.4msmile

  4. Thoughts on team, had a poor GW.
    Pretty obvious, getting rid of Mings is high priority.
    I don’t want to take a hit.

      Lescott and Oxford are also causing you problems as well. Firstly I’d downgrade Lescott to Ward/Martin or another 4.5 defender you might prefer. Then the next move for me would be to bring Mings up to a playing defender – Francis (or Smith might be a good bet depending on the severity of both Bournemouth injuries).

  5. Finally a good GW for me and now feel akward using Wildcard after scoring 59 points but need CIty defence, Pedro and Wilson, too many transfers :/

      I don’t think you need to WC. Despite Saturday’s clean sheet, I’d give consideration to Koscielny to Kolarov.

    • Yash…. keep Koscielny and get rid of Sanchez for Pedro. Arsenal are going to keep more clean sheets but I can’t see them scoring too many in there next few games. No need to WC.
