The Boot Room – Rate My Team GW 5 – FPL Fantasy Football Premier League
Game-week 4 is over and the International Break is under way, for many (including the FF247 team) this means wildcard time. So if you are looking for a bit of help on your new squad or simply feel the need to discuss any future transfers, you have come to the right place. We will also be receiving managers in need of a shoulder to cry on. Because frankly, after this 4 week span a tear or two is understandable.
So please feel free as ever, to post your thoughts, questions and feelings about whatever you want to, but in particular if you would like others to take a look at your team ahead of GW5 and beyond and offer their opinions. Please post or link it below and we are sure you will get plenty of feedback. Some of which may actually be constructive, but we can’t promise anything!
How long do we hang on to Aguero hoping he will score a shitload of points? I’m starting to think that he’s going to have a rubbish season…… But won’t get rid of him just yet, just in case ha ha
An injury is the only reason I’d drop him. He’s too good. I’ll most likely give him the armband permanently aswell.
Couldn’t agree more.
Just unlucky for the last 2 games.
How long do we hang on to Aguero? Until his hammy pops again 😉
please RMT guys
Myhill Butland
Kolarov Gomez Francis Cedric Oxford
Yaya Pedro Ayew Mane Mahrez
Aguero Wilson Gomis
1.7mn in the bank

nishant
Looks good for now . .
Cheers GP
Francis or Ward?
Yaya or Silva?
Nishant
Ward and Silva.
Ward for Gomez… YYa for Silva
Would do that surely
also i am a bit concerned about my formation
i basically play 3-4-3
meaning my 3rd striker has to be a premium. (at least a bit even if not a Kun)
which Wilson should be
but its my mid line up
Pedro Ayew Mane Silva(if i get him for Yaya) Mahrez
whom do i bench in such a case? Everyone s sort of fixture proof
is this an issue?? Like i shoud have a 5th mid such as Westwood or Wanyama or someone??
I really like that team – it has huge potential IMO.
Depay, Chadli & Sako
for
A. Pedro, Ayew, Jerome
B. Pedro, Diouf, Westwood
Will be done during the next two GWs. No hits taken.
dharoc – A. Easy.
GP – whilst you’re around – what striker combination would you say is the best for points potential over the coming weeks?
Given fixtures and form (and price!), WIlson surely has to be there. Aguero just does, too. But who would you give the final spot to? Diouf has great fixtures and has looked sharp, Gomis is clearly the in form man but fixtures are getting worse, can he keep it up? Similar situation with Pelle…
Anyone I’ve overlooked?

I think you’ve nailed it there.
Aguero, Gomis and Wilson just now. Diouf is a decent alternative to Gomis but you need to cover Swansea somewhere I think.
Early days for my wildcard anyway but Ayew certainly looks a decent way into that team.

Rondon :biggun:
twinkle, after I wrote it he did come to mind. Looks decent and they have good fixtures. A prolific striking record!
Would Sagna or Mangala be dropped first?
Tricky one. Not sure how any of the back four could be dropped yet. I would say Zaba would come in sooner because of managers’ unwillingness to change the centre of the defence (oh yeah, and Zaba is better!) but given the price he just bought one for I wouldn’t like to say.
I wouldn’t bring in either at this stage and if you have one I’d ride the bus until the wheels fall off, if your looking to bring in Citeh defensive coverage I’d have Kolarov, Hart, Kompany.
