Do you have question marks over certain players or perhaps transfers you are considering for GW22? Who hasn’t?! This is your opportunity to voice those concerns and get some feedback from fellow Fantasy Mangers. We have a goldmine of experienced fantasy managers on tap who are usually more than happy to dispense of their advice and opinions so please feel free to post or link your team and ask away. The January Wildcard is of course still available, should you feel inclined to use it, if you resisted the urge last week! Will you activate it this week or will you wait until the transfer window has shut and judge what impact that has had, if any? Whichever you decide is the best strategy for you ahead of GW22 we welcome both your questions and also your advice to others. Please feel free as ever to post your thoughts, questions and feelings about whatever you want to but in particular if you would like others to take a look at your team ahead of GW22 and offer their opinion please post it below or link it and we are sure you will get plenty of feedback. I’m not panicking yet (still 16 GW to go) but I do need to start making up some kind of ground soon..
I like it. Not entirely convinced on Assaidi though.
I have 4.8 for a midfielder playing player.. Assaidi is a bit of a punt I guess.

Ki’s a good shout Cookie, mate. I think they are both as much of a gamble as the other though, i’m not adverse to either.
What do you think to my team Cookie ? Any changes you’d make (other than the Ki one of course).

Demise, I’d probably go with Ki, simply because he is the favourite at 4.8m, and you won’t play him much. So he might garner you some extra cash on the bench.
Like it Demsie,think i’d have lallana over Gerrard,due to Gerrards new deeper role and have you thought about Azpicuellita instead of Dawson ? Chelsea have started to keep clean sheets recently.

I’m (stupidly) kind of emotionally attached to Dawson having had him from he start.. Spurs have finally started to keep a couple of cleanie’s.

Given Gerrards deeper role and the spuds new love for attacking football, i’d be tempted to downgrade gerrard to a cheaper more attacking option and maybe use the money to upgrade to 2 prem defenders. – Maybe Dawson to Baines or Coleman?
Hi Chins.. I did think about that but it’s Gerrard’s ball when he plays.. He’s on pens, FK & corners and his assist potential is also pretty high.
I still think he’s pretty good value at the price he’s currently at.
If I swap Fonte to Coleman (keeping Dawson), I am then left with 7.0 after Gerrard.. Nothing really jumps out. What say you ?
Currently inside the Overall Rankings top 1,000, (team linked), so not looking to take too many big risks, but still want to have fun with the team…
WC just played, and I could use some advice:
Mannone (Davis @ 3.9m)
Coleman. Sagna. Martesacker. (Chester @ 3.9m. Whittaker @ 3.9m.)
Silva. Hazard. Yaya. Eriksen. (Johnson @ 4.1m)
Suarez. Aguero. Sturridge.
I still have 0.5m in the bank to strengthen the team further.
So, I set this up as a seriously attacking team, led by 7 outstanding forwards and mids, with 3 high quality (attacking) defenders in support (backed by 2 more who normally get 90 mins).
I want to enjoy watching this team play!
Notes:
– Currently thinking that Sagna (worth 5.6m now) would get swapped out at the latest after GW24 (ie before Pool / Man U).
So, what to do with the last £0.5m?
1. I could upgrade a defender, upgrade my keeper (eg to Boruc – balances up with Davis to make sure I always have a playing keeper)
2. I’d really like to have Stevie G in the team, but I like the form / fixtures of the current mids, and want to give Erik a run in the side. (Yaya may influence this if injured longer term of course…) And I’d need to raise cash by trading someone down to get Stevie anyway.
3. Alternatively I could bring in Lallana. But Erik edges him on form just now. Of course another option is to swap in Lallana for one of my big 3 mids. But they are all quality… For example, I could do Silva to Lallana and then Sagna to Baines?
4. ?!!!
So, anyway, thanks for reading my rambling post…

Holy cow that’s a long message James! lol
I’ve just WC’d as well and we’ve gone for a similar build – obviously. I’ve gone in with Boruc though as an upgraded keeper. Stevie G is playing a deeper role at the Pool right now, he has some say in the dead ball situations but with Sturridge back, I would watch Stevie G for another game or so to see if he continues playing the deeper position. I went for Lallana over Eriksen simply because of Spurs’ fixtures, both of them are in good form.
In saying all of that, I hope you do well but I do better. :D?

Yeah I don’t know about Baines at that price. He has only scored one goal from open play if I’m not mistaken! I broke the bank to get in Coleman as is – even dropped Terry who’s deserved well the last 5 games or so!
I see baines almost as a midfielder and judge him on that basis but i hear you.

I really like your side and your sensible and logical thought process going forward. You have a quality side (demonstrated by your ranking) and good options for the future.
I would look to upgrade Davis mate – being left with Mannone only could be an issue, in terms of injury, horrendous fixture etc. While we both got away with Davis and Gazza for a few weeks, I would suggest your wc is the time to get 2 playing keepers in there. The rest is great.

really impressive team.,,,,Arsenal have goals coming in the next 2/3 GW’s and I think you could try and find room for one of Giroud/Ozil/Ramsey…….If Ramsey was nailed on for the weekend id take a punt on him……
Your squad is so good im almost tempted to hit the WC button myself given im suffering with injuries and heading towards the 20k mark……

Very similar to mine it seems. I like it. Just not sure about Ki, yes he came right last GW, but is he going to be a regular pointsman.. Maybe spend a little more for the likes of Sterling?
I can afford Sterling – just not sure of his gametime with Sturridge back…..
Fair enough, I just have a feeling with his current form, he’ll be hard to dislodge. But that is merely my opinion.

That’s how the majority of us are right now, with the looming possibility of Kun’s welcome back. I think I might hold off a while – to see when he returns and what form he is in. I’m already taking the punt on Ramsey!
I really like the look of sunderland over the next 4 weeks. They are fighting for their survival with 3 of the 4 at home against average opponents. After that it doesn’t look good. At 4.4mil Manno e is very good value and allows you to spend elsewhere. Love the move.

Question is if Boruc can do better…
SUN have got good games over next 4. After that have a look at CAR run of games right up to GW37. If you were looking at value for money Marshall could be a good pick to replace Mannone. NOR games are pretty good as well.

as Milk said above – Sterling has been going well so he should be retained for a week or two despite Sturridges return…..other options are Lallana and Eriksen but they don’t have gimme fixtures so I might just keep Sterling as he has 2 home games….

id hold tough this week mate….your well covered and have the 1FT ….I know you want to keep Ade…but I think Giroud is a better shout…..just my opinion
If I reshuffle to do that then will have Giroud, Eriksen, A Williams and Vlaar in for Ade, Ramsey, Clyne and Kol… leaving me with 0.1M in the bank

Agreed. Though I like the WC team a lot.
I don’t have much faith in ade as a consistent deliverer of points do… Giroud is a reasonable call IMO for this week. (Form and fixture)
If I was subbing out hendo it’d be to Erik, lallana, gerrard in that order this week.
Bearing in mind you’d have a WC it’s not a great risk you’re taking in doing that.

I agree with Dab – if you’re playing your wc next week then you have a free transfer and 3.5mln for a one week transfer…..why not sell Adebayor, but Sturridge and go all out Liverpool….then you can wc next week….

Shep, if prices are rising and you can’t get the players you want in 2 weeks time, then use it, for sure. Maybe the suggestion I gave you isn’t necessarily the worst – it just means you wc a week earlier than planned, but I don’t see that as a major issue to be honest.
