It’s transfer deadline-day and one of the most exciting days of the year in the football calendar and possibly one of the most important in terms of fantasy football, as come the end of play today many PL teams will have a different outlook depending on their business on this one day. With FPL taking a mini-break due to international fixtures this is the perfect time for many to reflect on today’s happenings and decide whether any new signings are worth a punt or will impact positively on the players they already have. We kick this article off early doors and look forward to seeing it through until the deadline tonight with all of your rumours, hopes and probably lies (!) along the way. Hi Hammer, I am personally and I’ve seen or heard of a lot who are or have done so already but probably equally as many not doing so. The team you have there doesn’t look like it needs it in my opinion but it depends how you feel about it and whether you would ideally like to switch say 5 or more for others you feel you would prefer?

Depend how many changes you feel are needed I guess. I’d say you could get away without it.
Feel my starting XI is safe for the next GW but then once new signings are settled I may WC in week 6/7.

Ooh by the way, something came to mind. Let’s say Ron Vlaar goes to United and I already have 3 United players but I get him while he’s still a Villa man… Does this mean I can keep 4 United players? They can’t force players out can they? And if that does happen can I play 4 from United? Would be funny.

He would remain in your team as a Villa player for the purposes of the 3 players from 1 team rule. But once you transfer any of your Man Utd players out (inc. Vlaar) or wildcard, you would be subject to the 3 player rule as normal.
You can play him until you need to do a transfer.
It won’t let you make a transfer unless it’s to take out the extra Man Utd player.
As far as I know, your next transfer would have to be one of them 4 players out of your squad!
Tnx guys, I already have DDG. But let’s say I can get another cheap United defender (like Vlaar), he’d be worth it at 4.5m. I’d sell DDG later. 😉

you will be able to keep the 4 ManU players, won’t be forced to sell one. Obviously if you sell one of your ManU players you can’t replace him with another one. If you like you could have 4 ManU players for the rest of the year, as long as you don’t sell one.
