Hello everyone and welcome back to UEFA Champions League Fantasy Football 2023/24.
Next up is the 1st leg of the Semi-finals. All you need to know is as follows:
- For transfer purposes you now have another 5 FREE TRANSFERS to use ahead of the deadline for the 1st legs on Tuesday 30th April.

We have left some of the key info in here, more as an easily found reminder –
- TRANSFERS
Before quarter-final 1st leg: 5 transfers
Before quarter-final 2nd leg: 3 transfers
Before semi-final 1st leg: 5 transfers
Before semi-final 2nd leg: 3 transfers
Before final: 5 transfers
So basically it’s like FPL in terms of being able to carry 1 transfer over. However, as we have now reached the knockout stage we do not have the option of carrying a free transfer with us: you don’t use it, you lose it.

- Deadlines
Deadlines are at the time of kick-off of the first match of the round. So unlike FPL you do get to see the line-ups in advance and adjust your plans accordingly.
CHIPS?
There are a couple;Wildcard
You get 1 regular wildcard and you can play it anytime you like prior to the start of a round. It acts the same way it does in FPL.Limitless Wildcard
This is a different type of wildcard here, one that many will find very appealing. It is very similar to the “Free Hit” chip we have in FPL. However, there is one major difference… “The Limitless Wildcard enables the user to create a team without any budget restrictions and affords them unlimited transfers for one matchday.” So for one matchday you can afford whatever team you like. You do still have to meet the criteria for players from one team and formations and all that, but there is no budget, so spend away. Once the matchday is over, just like the free hit chip, our teams revert back.The Game Itself

- Deadlines
Who to captain today???
I have only 3 players for today and has to be Mbappe. Tomorrow will big the big dilemma choosing between Kane and Haaland. Of course if Kylian scores a hatty, it will be a different story.
Have it on Mbappe too…would be great if its a done deal today.
For a first time I don’t have a clue what to do with the 3 FT as there is no need of any.
Anyhow, used one to replace Mendy with Dias as my money are on City to progress.
Same here. But I decided to take some risks now Swapped out mbappe for raphinha and c him. High risk but lets see. Allowed me to get cancelo too and take a punt on brandt.
I wanted to gamble with Lewa but it’s a bit too risky and leaving as it is.
Though mbappe does punish me, the gamble on brandt does pay off as he gets 11 pts.
Will have to change c to kane as raphinha couldn’t do more after the red card
Yeah, after that f up with the armband I have no other choice but to go with Kane.

Another great night of cl football. But the red card for barca changed everything. Dortmund game was a thriller.

Massive headache tonight
Foden will replace Emery but what do I do with Kimmich and Saliba?
The other dilemma is Kane or Haaland with the armband?
Man City have won each of their last three home games against Madrid, each of which have come under Guardiola in this competition (2-1 in 2020, 4-3 in 2022 and 4-0 in 2023). The title for both Bayern and Arsenal in their domestic leagues is out of hands, so the battle to do something in here will be huge

I guess saliba can stay on bench. Either him or dier can be benched.
Perhaps some of the players are anyways not starting.
