images-2Hello! Firstly, we’d like to afford you a very warm welcome to Fantasy Football 247, the website that has been designed and created to offer all FPL managers a wide range of help, advice and up-to-date news whilst maintaining a friendly, welcoming and fun community feel.

Please take your time to tour the site and see what is on offer, but allow us to briefly talk you through what we will bring you.

There will be a wide range of core articles published in order to help managers prepare for the upcoming gameweek(s). Namely – Fixtures, Captain’s Stats, Tips, Weekend Team News, Live Game Chat & Saturday and Sunday Matchday Reviews.

We also plan to publish ad hoc articles, such as Interviews with a variety of managers, Player Profiles etc. The infamous and ever-popular Banterbury Leagues will be run by Bench and there will also be twice weekly Prediction Competitions hosted by Potty.

There is of course, an interactive chat room available, which we would encourage you all to post comments on in order to seek advice and help and to reciprocate this to other managers’ and discuss thoughts on your line-up, transfer plans and other issues that affect your FPL team.

To get involved in the chat, you will need to register with Fantasy Football 247 – details of how to do this can be found on the “Register” tab at the top of the page – its very simple. We would also encourage you to set up a “gravatar”, which will then link to your name every time you comment on the site and will make you instantly recognisable at a moment’s glance – this proves especially useful when you are seeking advice and other managers can spot you easily and reply to your posts.

    A few words for you all.
    Firstly,its great to see the site launched and a new adventure for us all has begun .
    Secondly, to be asked onboard the FF 247 Team is a honour for Potty and it is a highlight of my life without doubt,thankyou all so much.
    So without further a do.…….
    Rip,Tear,Rip,Tear,Ouch….my gaffer tape is finally removed from my mouth and that’s such a relief.
    But more importantly…. Pottys Journey is over,coz……

    • Potty.
      I am in mate,that took some setting up.
      Will tell the rest of my urchins over the next 2 days,more likely do this for you and 247 on the coach down to Wembley on Tuesday, leaving Lime St at 8am for a night boot off.
      That’s as mad as you Potty,calm down calm down.

  4. Well hello all,yes you can thank Potty for this who has invited me into all this fun.
    Potty who I know as Procky(but Potty will stick is bonkers) no doubt about it but also a loyal friend and he picks his mates very carefully.
    I met Potty in Stanley Park,Liverpool by total accident many moons ago.
    He was leading a charge of Leeds Lads onto us and boy he packs a punch,we have been soulmates ever since.
    But one thing one can’t take away from him is his inspiration which is infectious.
    So toffee thommo is the name and thanks for allowing me to join.
    Look forward to a informative site and a crack along the way.

        • Fair enough Kop. I’m looking to do 2 transfers. Lukaku and Chester out, I want a united defender but can’t decide who. Failing that arsenal or Liverpool cover at the back (any tips?)

        • Fergie, we’ve got a number of tricky fixtures coming up so I’m not sure I’d go with a Pool defender!!
