Hello! Firstly, we’d like to afford you a very warm welcome to Fantasy Football 247, the website that has been designed and created to offer all FPL managers a wide range of help, advice and up-to-date news whilst maintaining a friendly, welcoming and fun community feel.
Please take your time to tour the site and see what is on offer, but allow us to briefly talk you through what we will bring you.
There will be a wide range of core articles published in order to help managers prepare for the upcoming gameweek(s). Namely – Fixtures, Captain’s Stats, Tips, Weekend Team News, Live Game Chat & Saturday and Sunday Matchday Reviews.
We also plan to publish ad hoc articles, such as Interviews with a variety of managers, Player Profiles etc. The infamous and ever-popular Banterbury Leagues will be run by Bench and there will also be twice weekly Prediction Competitions hosted by Potty.
There is of course, an interactive chat room available, which we would encourage you all to post comments on in order to seek advice and help and to reciprocate this to other managers’ and discuss thoughts on your line-up, transfer plans and other issues that affect your FPL team.
To get involved in the chat, you will need to register with Fantasy Football 247 – details of how to do this can be found on the “Register” tab at the top of the page – its very simple. We would also encourage you to set up a “gravatar”, which will then link to your name every time you comment on the site and will make you instantly recognisable at a moment’s glance – this proves especially useful when you are seeking advice and other managers can spot you easily and reply to your posts.

Gallow you have to literally type a colon either side of spelling the word.
ie if you wanted the beer one you would type, : then the word beer then another colon, with no spaces in between.

One question though – Are any of the founders going to be posting their teams up as they go along like the former best fantasy footy site on the net?

It’s certainly something we’ll look to do in some shape or form, but we wanted to get the core articles going first, let the site settle down and then we’ll take a look at the best way of doing it.
Appreciate your ideas – constructive feedback is just what we want !

Obviously the articles and chat are what gets you reading the site so yeah probably best to concentrate on that first.
Then you need a trump card which separates you from the rest. Posting the team was in my opinion what made FFC the best site out there.
