Around the Grounds FPL Team News Gameweek 7

We are delighted to announce that this week there will not be an official Around the Grounds article. Delighted you say? Well yes, we say. Let us explain. Your usual roving reporter, the esteemed Cookie, has been a bit busy this week, to say the least. Now whilst most middle aged men are starting to wonder what to do with the spare bedroom once the eldest finally buggers off to University our Cookie lives life a little differently. To say the least. He’s been turning the spare bedroom into a nursery… Ah, surely for his grandchildren then you say? Nope…

We are officially delighted to announce the arrival of Cookie’s latest additions to his growing brood. Yes, that’s plural! Many congratulations from all at FF247 to Mr and Mrs Cook on the arrival of their twin girls Imogen and Olivia.

Ahem, back to FPL anyway. Given the above and the lack of anybody else willing / able to spend half of their week trawling through the press conferences there will not be an official article this week but we will instead endeavour to post all of the latest news in the comments below so that you will at least be kept up to date on all the main news as it happens as we approach tomorrows deadline. And that is the first piece of really important news as it happens –

The GW7 deadline is on Friday at 7pm UK time

We will post the main headlines ourselves but we would also encourage others to do the same on this article so that it is all in one place rather than being lost within the RMT chats on the other articles.

Congrats again Cookie. And good luck! laugh

    CRYSTAL PALACE TEAM NEWS
Alan Pardew has been holding his pre-match news conference ahead Palace’s clash with Everton. Here’s the Eagles team news!
“Wilfried Zaha’s back in the frame. We had a serious injury to Jonathan Benteke though, which will keep him out for three or four months. It’s a shame for Jonathan and for us. His meniscus on his knee is the problem here. Other than that it’s the same group as Sunderland with the addition of Wilf.”
Will Wilf be an impact sub or a starter?
    “I’m not telling you.”
    Fair enough, Alan.
