GW34 DEADLINE SATURDAY 27th June 2:30PM GMT

With the Bundesliga seemingly taking over the bulk of the chat on site (understandably, given as it’s the only game in town right now) we have decided to (tried to!) move the chat onto its own specific article to allow others space to chat about FPL, dandelions or whatever they wish elsewhere, so that they aren’t simply left muttering ‘Das ist mir Wurst’ to themselves all summer.

We will not do a fresh Live Match Chat for each week, we shall simply update this one as we go along with the latest deadlines and fixtures. We shall endeavour to post the line-ups prior to each phase of the relevant GW and our usual FPL Countdown Timer (to be found above the latest comments section) has been temporarily handed over to Bundesliga.

Tips will be dispensed in the chat below (mainly by Mito we would imagine) but feel free to get involved in said chat, whether that’s asking for advice or answering others.

Bundesliga Fixture Tracker
The main inspiration for us creating a fresh FBL article was Ivan and his willingness to volunteer to create a fixture tracker to deal with the remaining games. Mito got his crayons out and helped fill it in. Many thanks to both.

  1. Hey guys. How are you all doing? Long time. Been going through difficult times both personally and professionally due to Corona. Don’t know when would this s**t be over and everything shall be back to normal.
    Anyways, EPL returning is a good news. Not been in connection with any of the FPL related news/updates.
    I see Bundesliga FL has already started. A bit late now. Hope to see FPL in full swing soon. Cheers all. Hope you are doing best at your end.

    • Welcome back. Waiting for FPL to start. Hope all good from your end in all fronts.

      You can still play last few MatchDays to taste the fun of Bundesliga. We had 2 mini-competitions (all credits to Mito to guide us through it) in MD26 and MD27-29. We will again have MD30-32/34. We are looking for more participation next season and inviting all to play last few weeks this season to get a feel/used to it.

      Corona is a bitch and hopefully we’ll all be back to some kind of normal soon,
      Not too late to join FBL, I think we’re having a mini 2/3gwk tournament in the ff247 mini league, so why not join in for a bit of fun.

    • Yeah I agree with Bigpopz, not too late to join. It’s quite fun once you get over the differences, LOTS of tinkering possibilities during the GW.

    Can I just say I’m really enjoying the FBL
    Would like to see it On here in some format next season.
    Special thanks to Mitro and Ivan for guiding us through the quirks of the league,
    Looking forward to this gwk need to do some tweaking especially in defence.
    Anyone recommend two cheapo defenders around 5m each?

    • Midfielder Renato Steffan 9.5m has gotta go.
      Plus Toure 3.5m or Gulde 1.5m & Koch 5.9m in defence.

      Jamilu Collins 4.7m def
      Baumgartner 8.6m mid
      Zimmerman 4.9m Def

      Any tips out there?

      • Bigpopz, I have Steffen as well, it was a part of a combo to bring Hazard at the time. He might do well in the next game playing against Bremen who are the second worst in the league and have an extra game tomorrow.

          Thought Steffan was suspended, red flagged with 5 yellows?

        • Bigpoz – FYI Zimmerman and Collins have tough fixtures. Am also looking at defense, hence wanting to bring in Dragovic and Toure with good match ups.

      • What is with Toure? Is he not likely to start against Frankfurt? They have some good matches coming up and I was thinking about bringing him in. Don’t know why he did not start the last match. Looks like he is a regular.

          Not sure if he was dropped or just rested,
          Unless he was Just covering for someone else whose now fit?
          Maybe hold until we learn more.

        • Please note F’furt has a game with Bremen tomorrow, so it might be due to rotations.

      • Are you sure about that? I thought you need more than 5 yellow in the second have of the season, just like in the EPL :blink:

          He’s got a red dot on the 3 dots next to his name, says 5 yellows suspended until round 30 ?

        • As far as I can find there isn’t any reset at mid season. Five yellows (including the very first match against Dortmund) = suspension

        • OK, in that case he needs to go. I need to find a way to bring back Sancho Panza :wacko:

  3. Anyone know if Luthe (GK Augs.) is likely to keep starting? He played the last 5 games after taking over from Koube :scratch_one-s_head:

      I’ve just got 1 playing gk in kastenmeier..
      Got other fires to put out, especially in defence.

  4. Ok whats the news on Haaland injury, ?
    Didn’t look serious when he went off vs Bayern.
    Got Lew & Werner (Lucas Holer)
    Did have Haaland until his injury,
    Could squeeze him back in if fit.

        • I have Baumgartner from the start and happy with his returns. Yep, Hazard is likely to go in order to generate cash for Sancho.
