Banterbury Leagues Round Up Gameweek 13 & 14

Gameweek 13 Review Premier  Cookie’s Monsters  stay top and all but end  Eddy Hitler XI  hopes of a shield place.   Arsene’s Boys  &  Park Bench Exports remain hot on his tail with wins over bottom place THE MUTTS NUTS  &  Bocadillo Allstars.   Making up the final shield place is  Reubens Rioters, while Where’s The Dosh?  are 5th after beating  Kop Warriors  and it looks like a fight for the 4 places will come from these 5 teams. A key fixture could well be when  Rioters  play the Dosh in GW16. A few teams will feel they still have a chance as there are 12 points still to be played for, one of them being  Gasco’s athletic  who sit 6th and are one of only two teams in the Banterbury leagues this GW to be centurions, they are 4pts off that last sought after sh...[Read More]

At the start of this season I had so many managers wanting to enter the leagues that we had to open a Qualification League with the top 3 teams at the end of the season earning a...[Read More]

Banterbury Leagues Round Up Gameweek 15

Hello and welcome to the game-week 15 review of the Banterbury Leagues. Now to the action and we start with the Premier League. Premier Park Bench Exports go top after beating his bogey side UD Stoke who did the double over Bench last term. This is Bench’s 8th win in a row, though 5 of those wins have been by 5 points or less, he has been very fortunate indeed. This win has also guaranteed Bench’s place in the Shield in the New Year. Cookie’s Monsters drop to 2nd and are having a bit of a wobble after losing to his great rival Kop Warriors, his defeat will be even more hurtful as Kop will now have bragging rights till they meet again in mid-April next year. Despite this defeat, Cookie needs just a point to be playing Shield football in the New Year. Odds on to join these two ar...[Read More]
