Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 10 Guess the best we can say about our game-week is that at least we still got a green arrow. We made a small move to 565K after jumping about 40K places in the overall. Our score of 57 was six points above the average and our game-week ranking was in the 1.2 million range. Let us give a rundown of how we managed our score and move along to our transfer plans and captaincy choice for the upcoming game-week. In goal we had Boaz Myhill who finally delivered after several weeks of somewhat disappointing returns. The Baggie’s keeper was able to keep a clean sheet and grabbed himself two bonus points for a total of eight points.

Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 8 Four straight green arrows, a spot inside the highly coveted 2 million (yes, at this stage a ranking inside 2 million is coveted) was finally on the cards for this underperforming side. Only problem was the game-week started and we started to capitulate faster than an EPL team in the Champions League. We dropped close to 200k spots and now sit a long, long way from respectability. 38 points is usually a score that one would hope are among the lowest of the season. Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 7 Finally!!! I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day. We were able to move about 500k spots in the overall and almost got inside 2 millionth in the overall. Still terrible we know, but with the defeat of Wenger at the hands of Jose we now know that things might be normalising a bit. So expect the FF247 team to continue to climb methodically up the rankings as hopefully more and more teams quit. Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 6 Well here we are again, trying to explain away our criminal start this season. Sitting at a paltry 2,554,773 is just a touch embarrassing. However we did expect to have a memorable season even if some very negative people (everyone) might see it as forgettable one so far. The good news is we got 3 straight green arrows. The bad news is we are just barely getting them. At this stage we are fighting an FPL war of attrition. Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 5 Well that was a fun opening 4 weeks. We will now share our ranking if you promise not to laugh. Our current ranking is 2… cough, cough, sorry about that, we also have our MLS hats on. Our FPL ranking is a fair way off that – 2,677,857. Awful! Anyway, after that revealing moment, we have at least a small victory to report. Shockingly we do have 2 of something at least – straight green arrows. We know, it was almost impossible to get a red after our start. However we almost defied the odds as we came bloody close in both GW3’s and 4! Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 4 Another week and another meh performance. While we did get that coveted green arrow, it wasn’t anything to write home about. We jumped a bit over 230k spots and ended up in a very unrespectable 2,723,655 in the overall. Oh well, could have been worse I guess, yeah it really could have. In the end our four point hit gave us a net positive of 1 point, after we total the points of the players sold as well as the players brought in and we deduct the hit. In the end the moves were not just about one week as the buying of Alexis and in particular Aguero are in our long term plans. Well, doing worse was actually possible. That’s right we managed a red arrow after scoring a shocking 19 points this week. We are now only 40K spots away from the magical 3 million overall position. Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 2 Interesting start to say the least. The FF247 team did not fail our members…well maybe just a little, well one in particular. If you would have told us that we were going to score 27 points, we probably would have asked on which day. Apparently FPL still has a sense of humour though and that was our grand total for the GW. Fantasy Football 247 Team – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 FF247 has finalised its selection for its squad in this our second season. Coming off a strong showing last season with a final ranking of 5921, we hope that we can go a bit better this time as we had a strong season and looked good for a top 1k finish for so long but just ran out of gas at the end! After seeing how our discussions went last season over transfers and team selection we were naturally more prepared. It was smooth as heck…well, more like long as heck. Fantasy Football FF247 Team Gameweek 38 Another week and another red arrow. That’s 4 on the bounce and even Newcastle are starting to feel sorry for us. We dropped 396 spots to 5328 in the overall rankings. Not a dramatic drop, but still the trickle slowly down is really p*ssing us off. Well let us have a quick look at the magical 11 that caused our sorrow before we move on to our plans for GW38. In goal we had the trusty David Ospina. You sorta know is not going to be your week when you have a 17 point keeper sitting on the bench. We hate to do this, but let’s quickly go over how our team performed or didn’t perform in GW35 before we discuss our transfer plans for the upcoming week. Damn you Ospina!
