Every year I moan my way through the season but deep down I must enjoy FPL as this will be my 10th season. Another green arrow to raise your hopes of an excellent finish at the end of the season, or perhaps a red one that has left you scratching your head at where it all went so wrong? Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 36 Welcome to Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 36. It is officially silly season. Alvaro Negredo had a double game-week in which he never scored (despite attracting many a Captain Armband), subsequently he is therefore sold off in his thousands and then scores and assists against Manchester City the very next time out. Huh? Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 34 Welcome to Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 34. Init messaged me at the weekend to double check I was still ok to write this week’s article. To which I replied ‘of course’. I then gave it some thought and wished I’d said I was busy. This must be the dullest double game-week in living memory. Somebody wake me up when it’s over! With the announcement of the majority of the upcoming DGW’s we are going to split this weeks Tips article into two sections. We will look at DGW34 a bit, as that one is nearest, and assess which teams and players involved in that one may be worth planning ahead for now in terms of bringing them in gradually over the next few weeks. We will then go on to look at this week specifically and who we would be looking at for GW30. What I’ve Learnt From Editing the Fantasy Football Magazine Welcome to What I’ve Learnt From Editing the Fantasy Football Magazine. Speaking on last week’s FFSurgery Podcast, Jamie – the Fantasy Football Magazine’s co-creator – remarked that the motive for producing the magazine was simply to gain access to the best FPL advice out there before anyone else. Though Jamie was joking, I can’t help but agree with the sentiment. Having seen almost all of the magazine’s articles at least 2 gameweeks before its release date, I certainly felt as though I had gained a somewhat unfair advantage over the rest of the field. Over the past five game-weeks we’ve navigated our way through our first blanks and doubles of the season, a period when those who planned accordingly will have reaped the benefits.
