Speaking on last week’s FFSurgery Podcast, Jamie – the Fantasy Football Magazine’s co-creator – remarked that the motive for producing the magazine was simply to gain access to the best FPL advice out there before anyone else. January Transfer Analysis Welcome to January Transfer Analysis. Deadline Day has passed, Jim White has calmed down and put away his golden tie for another few months and the new signings will be getting acclimatised to their new surroundings. Some of the players are getting used to a new country but during this transfer window we mostly seen Premier League players swapping allegiances to another Premier League club. I don’t think there will be any arguments when I say this window was dominated by Piefaces crusade to return to the South coast of France with Marseille. This is kind of an MLS-ish type of schedule that we’re dealing with this week (and in the rounds coming up). We had games take place on Tuesday and Wednesday for GW23 (and this article is actually being written before GW23 has been played out, so bear that in mind). Firstly, looking back at last week’s Tips I would like to pay tribute to Mr Inittowinit who brought us his ‘Transfers In’ led article which was rather annoyingly, an entirely original and simple idea delivered expertly.
