The first is that some of the more premiumly priced players (we are looking at you Ronaldo, Lukaku and Salah) are proving themselves to be hard to ignore. Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2021-22 International break time always means one thing, GABO time! This mostly passive aggressive panel was filled with our fearless feared leader Init, Rosco, who after only one week of doing Init’s site duties needed a therapist and GP who tries to always be nice, but has been sneaking in snarky comments on the site. FPL Ramblings I don’t do intros if I can help it and that will not change today. Here we go. Team of the Week David de Gea led all keepers this week in points with 7, a couple of great saves helped United to their first clean sheet of the season. Varane made his first start and went out and had the highest score for any defender with 12. His assist, three bonus and clean sheet all helped him stand out this GW. Perhaps a little lucky though to get the six extra points. Think most of us would give Greenwood a lot of credit for the goal as he had a ton of work to do after receiving the pass from Rafa. FPL Ramblings As you all know, unlike the others I actually hate these intros. So I am just going straight into it. One Note: This is obviously written before the gameweek is all done so Hammers and Leicester players were not taken into account. Here we go. Team of the Week Lloris makes an appearance after his 11 point performance. That is two clean sheets and max bonus both weeks for him. The defenders are the sort of the players/teams you expect in there. TAA had a fantastic game with 7 key passes, 1 shot and 1 assist. Add the 3 bonus to his tally and he ended up on 12, the kind of performance you expect from the highest priced defender in the game. Then again, we would all also win the lottery every week if we were able to pick all 59 numbers, which is effectively what they did. We hope you picked the good ones! Gameweek 2 is where we begin to whittle that lot down a bit though.
