Harry & Lloyd’s Predictions Competition

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8. A low scoring week for most here in H&L comp as it was a rather tight week in the Premier League. Exactly half of the games ended with the spoils being shared with 5 drawn. United got pinned back by Everton whilst Burnley, Norwich, Arsenal and Brighton played out two boring 0-0’s with Liverpool and Man City giving us the best game of the season so far in a brilliant 2-2 draw. This week, unlike real life, there was no draw for the winner. Sherlock won fair and square out on their own with 14 points. Second place was however shared with Goldilocks and Irfan7cr both accumulating 11 points. Nobody correctly guessed the FGS this week as it came from the unlikely source of Antho...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7. The scores last week are the type I can work with. Lots of 0’s, 1’s and 2’s. Only Liverpool, Arsenal and Brentford managed a number higher; both Brentford and Liverpool grabbed 3 a-piece in an unexpected 3-3 draw and the Arsenal were anything but boring as they stuck the same number past Nuno’s hapless Spurs. Elsewhere it was a good week for the more prudent predictors unless you’re looking in particular at the result over at Old Trafford. Ouch. This week, MDB was the big party pooper. 16 pts was enough to hand him the winners gong, snatching victory away from yours truly (Rosco). There was me, 14 pts, getting all excited for a lovely new t-shirt. It was not to be. Third place was Sa...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6. De La Soul were right all along, three was the magic number for Liverpool, Watford, Villa and Chelsea last week with only Norwich managing to upset the applecart with a consolation goal. Away wins for Brentford, Arsenal, Watford, Manchester United and Chelsea proved that home form is not always guaranteed and just two draws, perfectly illustrating why a couple draws on your betting slip always pumps up those winning odds. I did rubbish again this week, others did not! It’s two on the bounce as last weeks winner Sam10 once again took the top spot with an excellent 16pts. Once is good, twice in a row is very good! Second place was my own private FPL confidante and site supremo Sm...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5. This week there were some standout results that few predicted, Palace doing a number on Spurs (3-0) stands out and I’d have predicted nobody would get the FGS, but as you’ll see below I was wrong on that front. Elsewhere, Chelsea and Liverpool both scored 3 times without reply and as expected Manchester United did a number on my lot, though our single goal reply may have upset more than a few 4-0 predictions. Let’s get to the results! There were lots of big scores this week; the first 14 players all attaining double-digit scores. Well played! And 14 it would seem is the magic number this week, Sam10 and Jon9898 both reached that number with Jon also correctly predic...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4. While everyone is getting all giddy over a certain Portuguese forward, here at Harry and Llyods it’s business as usual and there will be no mention of said player. In GW3 it was business as usual for Manchester City with yet another 5-0 win. Outside of that fixture is was all about 1’s and 2’s with no other team scoring more than two goals. Let’s see how that is reflected in this week’s results! This weeks winner was Constantine with a whopping 19pts, thanks in no small part to his correct guess of Gundogan as FGS, a feat managed by just 3 other managers – Hammerfan, LittleRedLacazette and Qwkliduzzit. Constantine earned himself 14pts in the tradit...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3 brought to you by this weeks sponsor – Simmo Logistics LTD*. If you went with 2-0 across the board you would have done well, there were four in total. Other than that, the only notable result was West Ham’s demolition of ten-man Leicester. Man City won 5-0 but even I got that one correct and I’m rubbish at this competition. Thankfully some of you are very good at it. Let’s get to this weeks winner! After a tense (I like to think it is) tiebreaker that saw Shutto and Izzat Aziz finish with 16pts, Shutto’s FGS prediction was a whole minute closer to the 18th minute FGS than Izzat Aziz. And thus, Shutto is this week’s big winner! Izzat Aziz takes secon...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW2

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW2 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW2. It’s good to be back. I mean that entirely from a ‘fan of Premier League’ perspective. As an NUFC fan (and season ticket holder for those new around here) it was bloody awful. Could be worse, I could be a Leeds fan. Let’s get to the winners yeah? We ended GW1 with a tie for the top spot. RafflesHotspur and Shutto both finished with 11pts, however, Raffles 15th minute FGS prediction was closer than Shutto’s 10-minute effort (Sergi Canos in the 22nd minute). A plethora finished on 10pts, want to know who? Check the table! And so; Many Congratulations to RafflesHotspur. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. League table...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW1

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW1 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s GW1. I was shocked when I realised that this is now the fifth season of our weekly predictions competition. The last few seasons have flown by and that’s largely down to all of you keeping this article alive. We thank you! What you see is what you get here at the H&L offices, consistency is (usually) the name of the game here, your weekly solace from the stress and strain of what can often be a long and arduous season of FPL. That’s why things have not changed a great deal (read not at all) around here this season. We will still be offering t-shirts for the winners and nothing for the losers (none of that ‘everyone’s a winner’ rubbish from us). We will still have the 38 game week...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions The Final Reckoning

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions The Final Reckoning It’s all over. It’s been an arduous season, it’s had its highs and its lows and it will certainly be one for the history books. I’ll echo what I wrote last week and thank each and every one of you who took part this season. The intention of this competition is as always to serve as light relief from the testing trials and tribulations of FPL, this season it was a testing season on so many fronts, but together we have gotten through it. The wacky results that began the season slowly petered out as normality returned. With the return of fans, albeit in limited numbers there is hope that come the start of the 2021/22 season, we will have the football we all know and love; fans in the stadium, home and away...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW38

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW38 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW38. We head into the final week of what has been an at times bonkers season. How the heck were we meant to predict some of the crazy scores that opened the season? If anyone correctly predicted Villa 7 Liverpool 2 (they didn’t) then I demand this week’s lottery numbers right now thank you very much. Thankfully normality returned, and whilst I’ve personally had an average at best season of this predicting lark, some of you continue to amaze me with your predictive prowess. We’ve had a glut of fixtures over the past 3 weeks so I’ll stop waffling and let’s jump into the winners from game weeks 35 through 37! GW35 Winner The winner was Otieno with 16pts, 2nd place was Bejo on 14pts, ...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW’s 35, 36 & 37

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW’ 35, 36 & 37 Well, what a time for social media to go into a boycott! This weekend saw United fans storm the pitch and cause one of the biggest fixtures in football to be postponed. Whether you agree with the actions of the supporters or you don’t I think we can all agree it screwed up our FPL teams! It also messed up H&L with one fixture being removed. That one fixture could have changed the results and the destination of our winners prize but we will now never know! Elsewhere we saw Spurs smash 4-0 past Sheffield, City, Chelsea and Arsenal all win by a 2-0 score line and West Brom slip closer to relegation after their 1-1 draw with Wolves. We could have done with the United-Liverpool game to possibly separate our leaders this week ...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW34

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW34 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW34. As promised, we have two sets of results to give you this week. The less said about the GW33 results the better, but let’s just say I scored a solitary point, and the overall winning scores (as you will see below were low). Looking back at the results there don’t seem to be too many that were that unusual, Burnley’s 0-4 victory the standout that nobody could have predicted. On to the winners! GW32 Our winner in GW32 was Sarri-ball who picked up a whopping 17pts. It was no one-horse race, however, with OddDane coming a close second with 16pts. Tornado, Albox, Shinespark, and Leprechaun all grabbed a respectable 15pts to share the third spot on the weekly podium. Out of our 52 entran...[Read More]
