Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW26 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW26. With the quick turnaround between game weeks, we’ll be holding off publishing results this week and likely the next few (given that GW27 is mid-week). So, as always, we’ll publish fresh artiles for each GW, and then we’ll round up all of the results we’ve missed in one bumper article (most likely GW29). Thanks all! THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler: • Correct Score —> 3 points; • Correct Result —> 1 point; and • Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points. To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself! Points above are awarded on an...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team News GW25 Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW25 It’s not often you score over 100pts in a game week and end on a red arrow, but here we are. With no chips in play, we were always up against it. We’ve already used our Triple Captain, it did us proud back in game week 2. We probably should have saved it. Captain Mo got us 58pts, sadly he got 87pts for a lot of other managers, Ouch. The assistant manager was clearly the best play for our team, we didn’t play it. Those 22 David Moyes points would have been very much appreciated. Ouch again. Elsewhere, we benched Munoz and his 11pts, even Robinson with 4pts (first on our bench) outscored 5 of our 11. When it rains. Our latest red arrow see’s us drop from 2,664,904 to 2,599,511. Our Gameweek 24 Result We have £0.3m in the bank an...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW25 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW25 We finally get to the end of what felt like one of the longest gameweeks in FPL history. 11 days from the first fixture to the last fixture yet our next gameweek starts in just over 24 hours! One would feel it would have been better to join GW25 with the Merseyside derby but alas, we are finished now and what a way to finish. A farewell to Goodison Park that was extremely befitting, the prodigal manager, Moyes back at the helm, late goals, scuffles off the ball and FOUR red cards! All to end in of course a 2-2 draw! I would have taken the draw before the game and myself and Elleffcee have been predicting last nights game would be a tough draw for weeks! You will be forgiven if you’ve forgotte...[Read More]

Understanding statistics can significantly influence the outcome of wagers, especially with the growing popularity of over/under bets. By analysing trends and data from Fantasy Premier League (FPL) stats, punters can gain valuable insights that help them make informed decisions. Effectively utilising FPL stats can enhance betting strategies, leading to more successful over/under bets. Various factors, including team form, player performance, and historical data from previous encounters, are considered when predicting match outcomes. By focusing on these statistics, bettors can identify patterns that may not be immediately apparent. This approach allows for smarter betting choices and a better understanding of when to place wagers on goals scored within a match. Exploring FPL stats offers a...[Read More]
FF247 Site Team Gameweek 24 I’M AN ASS MAN (maybe) Welcome to FF247 Site Team Gameweek 24 A below average week again for us but by season’s standards, not AS bad as some of our poor showings given as we scored only one solitary point below the average with 58. OF COURSE it was a red arrow taking us down to 2,599,511. We’re miles off it this season but with chips in hand (more on that later) and a never-say-die attitude, we aim to dust ourselves off and look to our first double gameweek of the season with hope. Anyway, in Gameweek 23 we had Mohamed Salah (16) as captain so at least he bounced back for us. The Newcastle lads Isak and Gordon combined for 18 points and only a Gabriel (7) cleansheet for Arsenal and assists for Trent Alexander-Armstrong (5) and Daniel Munoz (4)...[Read More]
FPL Tips GW24 Welcome to FPL Tips GW24 We aren’t doing a Captain’s article this week, as we assume that the vast majority will simply stick it on Salah, DGW and all that. We were going to do a normal Tips article, until some smart Alec (Jamie Mc) pointed out that it may be pertinent to do something on this new Assistant Manager chip that we have all now been bestowed with, as of GW24. Given as we then asked the writing team and some had never heard of it (slightly worrying…) and others simply said they didn’t know enough to write about it, that seemed reason enough to highlight it. Below is a simple summary of what it is, and the rules around using it. Followed by a few initial observations from the members of the writing team who were actually on the ball with it. ...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW24 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW24 It was back-to-back first goalscorer for Justin Kulivert and 3 of you managed to guess that correctly! ADW was one of the three and along with Gavy takes third place this week with 9pts. sweetbluetoffee also went with the Cherries mid and those additional 5pts took them up to second along with Daisy2002 and RafflesHotspur on 10pts. It was a clear win for redmecca though, also predicting the FGS to net a total of 12pts and this weeks number one spot! Many congratulations to redmecca! Fantasy Football Live Match Chat GW23 Fantasy Football Live Match Chat GW23 Sandwiched in-between crucial (ish) Champions League MD’s we have a Premier League GW squeezed into two days, with barely 30 hours to breathe. No early game on Saturday and so 3pm sees 5 of them – Bournemouth v Forest. Brighton v Everton, Liverpool v Ipswich, Saints v Newcastle and Wolves v Arsenal. Man City and Chelsea feels like a Super Sunday feast, but for some reason we get the pleasure on Saturday at 5.30pm. 2pm on Sunday sees Palace v Brentford and Spurs v Leicester. As a compromise ‘Super Sunday’ seems to be split between Villa v West Ham at 4.30pm and then Fulham v Man Utd at 7pm. And there it was gone… The games in full… Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talk...[Read More]
FF247 Site Team News GW23 Twenty-too good to be true Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW23 Gameweek 22 saw us join many others in captaining Salah as he couldnt possibly blank a second week in a row, right?! Right?! You know, against Brentford – a team that had kept two clean sheets in the previous nine?! Well, Darwin Nuñez calmly looked after that at the bitter end and our captain came away with a measly six points from three doubled. Step forward the gameweek rescuers – Robinson, Alisson and Alexander-Arnold. This back three – itself a rare place to get the majority of your points – contributed to 28 of the 46 picked up from the gameweek. Thank goodness for them, as it would have been Blank City otherwise. Indeed, that trio helped us to our first green arrow since Gamew...[Read More]
FPL Tips GW23 Welcome to FPL Tips GW23 Look, we won’t lie, at least half of this article is about two weeks old! Certainly the goalkeepers and defenders bits were good to go ahead of GW21, when we unexpectedly went offline for a week or so. At that point the word ‘repurpose’ then became a thing. But fear not, it was more of a challenge to our writers to make old news become fresh news, as is fitting in this week of the return of The Donald, in particular. In fact, we expect they probably pardoned a few and culled a load of others, just to make it all feel fresh. To add to the illusion we asked Matt and Rosco (of H&L fame) to come up with some exciting new big hitters up top, to jazz proceedings up a bit. We don’t expect either ended with a Nazi salute though, bu...[Read More]
