USB virtualization in the age of virtual machines: efficiency and automation In today’s fast-paced digital era, virtualization has become a cornerstone of modern IT infrastructure. With virtual machines (VMs) now playing a key role in everything from development environments to large-scale data centers, integrating physical devices such as USB peripherals into virtual environments has shifted from a convenience to a necessity. The rise of USB virtualization sparks a crucial question: Is it a forward-looking trend or an essential step in maximizing the efficiency of virtualized systems? One of the primary challenges in virtual environments, particularly on platforms like Hyper-V, is the effective management of USB devices. Setting up USB connectivity in such systems can often be a technical...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team Gameweek 4 One giant leap for Gameweek 2, one drunken backward one for 3….. Welcome to FF247 Site Team Gameweek 4 After the highs of a morale-boosting Triple Captain success on Erling Haaland in Gameweek 2, we failed to use that as an early launchpad for our season as pre-international break we mustered a measly 62 points, which was two short of the weekly average and a bump back down to outside of the top 2 million overall. We should have stuck with Haaland for the captaincy but his hat-trick was most welcome regardless. Cole Palmer (C) led the team with 12 points – hardly a blank but hardly a success. A brace of assists from Ollie Watkins (5) and Antonee Robinson (4) were the only other notable points aside from the Ebe Eze (10) season-opener for him. Been a r...[Read More]
FPL Captain Picks GW4 Welcome to Fantasy Football FPL Captain Picks GW4 There once was a striker, Haaland by name, Whose goals brought him fortune and fame. With a powerful stride, And defenders denied, He’d score and just add to his claim. There you go, that’s as much about Erling Haaland as I’ll be mentioning in this article. And no, I didn’t even write that limerick either – it’s amazing what ChatGPT can do, isn’t it?! Rest assured, there’s no more AI to this article, and it will become abundantly clear that it’s a very bitter FPL manager who has written this on account of the fact that he… I… whoever, still doesn’t have Haaland in his team and has ridden the seven goals the Norwegian has so far scored this season like a ...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team News GW3 “Boast like hell” Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW3 They say that karma is a… well.. you know the rest, and after our barnstorming season that ended in the summer, it was a stuttered start with 48 points – nine below the average. Here we go, we all thought, this is what happens – something will find a way of bringing you back down to reality. Well, karma, you can stay away for longer because we were among those “jammy enough” (see the fallout on X, or Twitter, for further details) to triple captain Haaland and end up with a fantastic score of 103! Hello 100 Club! The Man City number 9 turned out to be an utter HaaLAD, as we believe the youth would say, scoring 17 which automatically turned to a fantastic 51. Sure, that means t...[Read More]

FPL Captain Picks GW3 And the winner last week was of course… anybody who chanced the Triple Captain chip on Erling. 51 points if you did so, and you can happily chalk that off as a successful use of that particular chip for the season. After all, enough of us remember such DGW disasters as Kane with an assist, etc. The (only) downside there was that nearly everyone else captained him too, so just a 17 point jump start there. Whilst GW2 looked fairly obvious in the armband respect, GW3 looks less so. As such we have wheeled our team out to purvey the options for you. Off we go… Loud Atlas — Bukayo Saka v Brighton & Hove Albion No spoilers or anything, and sorry to disappoint, but Saka is going to be my vice captain this week. Yes, I can’t even persuade myself to look ...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW3 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW3. Another week in the books and one that saw plenty goals in GW2. Thankfully we still haven’t witnessed a 0-0 result this season and in fact the only draw of the gameweek was the 1-1 draw of Bournemouth and Newcastle, and even that had a winner controversially ruled out! It was a case of copy and paste for Liverpool and Arsenal as they ran out 2-0 winners once more in their respective games. There were big wins for Man City, Spurs and Chelsea with 4-1, 4-0 and 2-6 wins. Not only were there plenty goals in the league there was plenty points in H&L with 24 managers getting double digit points out of the 54 participants. Of those 54, 12 got the FGS correct this week as Danny Welbeck poked home...[Read More]
