Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW10 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW10 I (Matt) switched off from FPL in GW9 and THANK GOD I DID! The FPL Gods laughed in my face and did everything I didn’t want. Thankfully though here at H&L we aren’t as devastating and stick to the clear cut results. There were some big results too in GW9. West Ham have ruined everyone’s fun by getting Ten Hag sacked after the Hammers won 2-1. Man City may have won but Haaland largely failed his TC backers. Arsenal and Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw. This led to plenty of points, twists and turns for Harry and Lloyd. We had 5 players get double digit scores. 2 managers on 10 points, 2 managers on 11 points and 1 singular winner to claim it all on 12 points. Sitting tied for 2...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team Gameweek 9 Now we saw him race ….. and we had Saliba, not a trace of luck on our side …. Welcome to FF247 Site Team Gameweek 9 As has seemed to be the way more often than we would like, Gameweek 8 was another below average showing for the Site Team. Posting a meak and measley 34 points and two below the going rate of 36, we reside at 2,764,797 overall. Sigh. Perhaps we have been spoiled in previous years and this is our regression to mean? (Bloody hope not – Ed.) A case of sugar and sh(ingle) in defence as we owned William Saliba (-3) on Saturday evening and then Josko Gvardiol (10) on Sunday afternoon. Net 7 – that any good?, laugh or cry etc etc…. The defence was rounded out with two other players falling either side of average – Micky ...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW9 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW9. I’m constantly amazed at just how bad I am at this prediction lark, whilst I’m continually impressed by just how some of you lot do it! Whilst I managed a paltry 5pts, it was a much more competitive field at the top of the table. With 11pts our very own Gear takes third, he was pipped at the post by WhoIsRonaldo, redmecca and hammersfan who all managed 12pts. However out in front was pjlill, 13pts was enough to secure this week’s top spot. Special mention to redmecca who was the only manager to correctly guess this week’s FGS. Many congratulations to pjlill! Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. Overall League Table THIS WEEK’S COMPE...[Read More]
FF247 Site Team News GW8 Spurred into action Welcome to FF247 Site Team News GW8 Going into any international break, it’s good to go out on a high, safe in the knowledge that you don’t need to worry about your squad for a while with various players then hopefully avoiding injury when playing for their country… Our Gameweek 7 Result Unfortunately, that wasn’t the site team. What actually happened was a 31-point collection that represented a gameweek rank of around 9.5m and 15 points below the average which, itself, was pretty low anyway. And what led us to this hugely disappointing scoreline? Well, poor Ezri Konsa hobbling off early on against Man United in what would have been a clean sheet didn’t exactly help. What else? Well, how about our captain joining the eigh...[Read More]
FPL Tips GW8 Welcome to FPL Tips GW8 Back to business, then, after another international break – or Nations League break if you prefer. Not that either are massively welcomed. I’m afraid there’s still a few more between now and Christmas as well. And that’s if you can even bear to think about the festive period yet as well. Anyway, dusting off our FPL teams after some time away, we can almost forget about any wasted wildcards, terrible transfers and ropey rotations in our squads. It’s still only Gameweek 8 and so early days in a season that’ll no doubt have many more twists and turns along the way. Goalkeepers Clean sheets are few and far between so far this season, with only 31 instances out of a possible 140 to date. Leading the way out of the shot sto...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW8 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW8. For many, GW7 was a low-scoring affair with very little excitement. 35 of the 48 managers who got their predictions in, failed to score more than 6pts, the other 13 managers who did manage more, all scored similarly, meaning its a packed podium at every level! In Third we have Booty01, Terminators, Albox, sweetbluetoffee, GoalMachine, Goldilocks, Shrivathsa who all managed 7pts, they sit just behind Gear and Tekno-kun who managed 8pts and claim second. Leading the pack with a game-week winning score of 9pts we have eplnoob. farao69, theswirly and bundeena bunnies. However, eplnoob and farao69 were the only two managers to guess the FGS correctly, and because they were both 9 minutes out from the act...[Read More]

FF247 Site Team News GW7 Icy cold Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW7 In FPL a fixture swing can sometimes be an opportunity, more often than not though, it serves only to cloud our judgment. In my own team I diligently played my wildcard in GW6 because you know, fixtures and that. I looked at my side with its Arsenal Tripple up, Mbuemo and all the other likely lads and thought ‘yup, this is the week I turn things around. When we reviewed the site team I shuddered, we weren’t playing our wildcard and our 11 looked sub-optimal at best. Little did I know that the site team would end up beating my own by some 34pts, thanks in no small part to our patience with a certain Cole Palmer. If only we’d captained him. Dammit. But let’s not be greedy, whilst our captain (Haaland) did blank, elsewhere we ha...[Read More]
Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW7 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW7 With a brace of 4-2s (Arsenal and Chelsea), an away win by 3 goals for Spurs and the unexpected away win by Fulham, the scores were predictably low. For most people. Indeed, bar this week’s winner, more than half the league finished below 5pts. In third place this week we have Albox with a lofty 8pts, in second, it was shared, with both Tenno-Kun and jon9898 both hitting 9pts, but way out in front our very own IvanTheTerrible somehow managed a not so unlucky 13pts and with it, this week’s top spot. Nice. Many congratulations to Ivan! Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. Overall League Table THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be muc...[Read More]
