Hello everyone and welcome to the gameweek AND the second FNF (Friday Night Football) of the season!
Shortly we begin with Newcastle United v Leeds United which our very own Rosco will be attending assuming he is still allowed onto the Gallowgate following his questionable behaviour surrounding CR7 and his ‘beloved’ Toon last Saturday. Kidding, that man is a pro and he had his FPL business head on and let’s face it, until Newcastle are taken over we’re all allowed to be fed up by the Geordies!
Saturday starts with Wolves v Brentford at lunchtime which will hopefully be a good watch as warm up to four 3pm kick offs with Burnley *cough* welcoming Arteta’s Arsenal to Turf Moor, Liverpool playing Palace at Anfield, Manchester City hosting Southampton at Eastlands and Watford officially being able to use their away kit correctly as they head to East Anglia to tangle with Norwich.
Aston Villa v Everton should make for a decent game on Saturday at 5.30pm.
Due to European involvement we have the three Thursday teams playing on Sunday this week and in fact, they will be for a number of their weekends until December – they had better get used to it!
Firstly, at 2pm we’re at the Amex Stadium as Brighton entertain Leicester fresh from them facing Napoli whilst simultaneously, West Ham United – who will have been in Croatia – come home to face Ronaldo, Bruno, Mason etc etc etc. Tough.
At 4.30pm, Europa Conference League flag-bearers Spurs hop back from across the channel having played Rennes, come home to face Lukaku, Havertz, Mount etc etc etc. Double Tough.

Tough call between Ronaldo and Salah gw6 captain. Edging towards Salah. What’s everyone thinking and why
Just to throw another name in, Antonio vs Leeds could be an option. Leeds defence has been a bit dodgy.
Anyway, I’m probably going for Ronaldo as Man u are playing at home, which swings it just about for me. Liverpool playing Brentford who haven’t conceded many (although I acknowledge BRE’s fixtures haven’t been too tough so far).
Ronaldo looks like a logical choice. But would hate to remove the C from Salah who has been so reliable so far.
Leaning toward Ronaldo. It is a home game and I feel CR7 will be hogging most United attack points.
Bamford at home against WHU could be the surprise this GW.
I’m going for Ronaldo over Salah as well… Villa are with out Tuanzebe as he can’t face Man U so have a slightly weakened defence and might even opt for 4 at the back instead of 3/5.
Going with Ronaldo because of the home fixture. Both could score well like they can any week
Let’s hope Ole doesn’t come up with some ideas to rest him for the UCL game on the following Wednesday.
No chance will get this week off
Well, he is an old geezer now, in football terms. 5-6 years ago wouldn’t be a problem to play even 3 games a week. But yeah, I can see Ole pushes him to the limit until he gets crocked.
Absolutely delighted with 80 points this game week.
Picked Salah over Ronaldo for the captaincy.
Got lucky with Benrahma and Christansen auto subbing in for Ttent and Torres.
Now to game week 6 and the dilemma of who to captain between Ronaldo and Salah.

Anyone considering, or better yet already rocking, 4 at the back? The 5.5m – 6.0m defs seem to be great great value (as always) but especially this season with so many good premium picks… Rudiger/TAA/Shaw/Dias for example sounds delicious!
Basically 4 at the back, Salah, three 5.5m – 6.5m mids, Lukaku and CR7 could be a shrewd option, no?
Looking to have a TAA, Dias, Rudiger back 3 soon. Having both Rom & Ron still an idea in progress.
And Salah?
Salah is one player I cannot drop. I will see how my team shapes up using transfers to see if I can have the 2 cannons up front.
I thought I was going to swap out Ronnie in GW 7 but have changed my mind. He is a keeper.
Will hold my weaker midfield together with Salah and swap Shaw for Rudi.
May hold Antonio and bring in Dias when Antonio’s match ups go bad.

I don’t have enough for Alonso, but was considering Ayling>Rudiger and get ready for the tasty Chelsea fixtures. But I could roll it too. Not sure and it may get decided late late Friday night.
