Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football
Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.
What you need to know
How to play?
You have a couple of options here;
Click here to join via a desktop or webpage.
Alternatively you can simply update your UEFA Games App (the one you may have used for the CL) and it will show up as a dual purpose one with the Euros game on there.
The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.
We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.
Or simply click here for the full explanation.
Hints, tips, squads, line-ups etc…
For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.
The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,
For anyone who didn’t then simply drop us an email on;
contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk
All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!
Anyone having trouble getting into the FFB site in euro2020?
This is me. So far. Many attempts to go I’m sure
Just received this email from officialfantasypremierleague@mail.com. sounds like a scam?
Yep, that’s not their email address.
Given you an idea regarding recruitment for the site though I’ll bet Init
It didn’t particularly, but if I’m being totally honest that’s just because I’m having a break from it all so I’m not exactly in that mindset right now.
That said, if MrM, or indeed anybody else on here, feels like they want to join the writing team and have the requisite skills to do so then I’m only ever an email away from discussing it.
True that.
Ivan, we are up to 33. Couple who I don’t know Let’s start to have a chat about those next week at some point. You’ll know who I mean when you look at it as most are obvious as to who they are. I’ve got a few erroneous ones who are kosher.
Yes, I’ve noticed a couple which not sure about as well. The question is how that happened as the league expanded with 10 new members after the code was removed from public. Anyhow, let’s sort it out next week.
I’ve replied to a lot of emails since that. Most of whom I know. Those I don’t have been challenged for their FF247 username. Silence back from a fair few. Don’t worry pal, I’m all over it. Pick up next week privately and we’ll finalise it then

I’ve not played a tournament game for years, however it seems one tactic is to massively attack the group stage with chips etc. Which group games do we think are the best to target?
SF, quite a few are playing this strategy but is very risky.
You can change your entire team for every of the 4 matchdays if use the limitless and then the WC. We know most of the goals are scored in them, but after that is getting dodgy without having any chip left for emergencies.
Usually after matchday 2 we shuld have an idea who is likely to progress much further and who are the dark horses of the tournament ( cheap punts, ala Pukki style)
There are pros and cons to every strategy. It’s nice to have WC for quarter final but if your players in R16 do badly and get eliminated you probably won’t catch up snyway
I think the following could be fixtures to target (my strong team vs weak team theory):
– anyone vs Hungary (in that group, the other three will hope to get a guaranteed 3 points from somewhere)
– Belgium vs Russia (MD1)
– Finland vs Belgium (MD3)
– Slovakia vs Spain (MD3)
– North Macedonia vs Netherlands (MD3)
What price Toney for next season ?
Probably 6.5mish.
