Euro 2020/21 Fantasy Football
Welcome to the FF247 hub for the Euro’s. As per our Champions League article this shall be the main place for the duration of the comp and will act more as a destination to gather and discuss it all, rather than being anything of particular fantasy use.
What you need to know
How to play?
You have a couple of options here;
Click here to join via a desktop or webpage.
Alternatively you can simply update your UEFA Games App (the one you may have used for the CL) and it will show up as a dual purpose one with the Euros game on there.
The Rules
This game is exactly as per the CL one with in-game matchday-by-matchday substitutions and Capo changes available between each day.
We expect most of our league members will be au-fait with these rules but if you are unsure then simply ask in the comments below and somebody will always be on hand to explain further.
Or simply click here for the full explanation.
Hints, tips, squads, line-ups etc…
For once UEFA have actually made a pretty good job of this and so we won’t be bothering to post any of the above as articles as it is pretty much all there for you. They have the entire raft of squads posted on both their website and on their official App along with a run-down on every single team.
The FF247 League
We are not running a ‘public’ league for this one, we are keeping it in-house for the summer fun and as such we have our usual ‘Regulars League’. We did post the league code in the comments section previously but this has now disappeared. The good news is that the majority of our usual CL crew saw it and have already joined,
For anyone who didn’t then simply drop us an email on;
contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk
All we ask if you enter the league is that you please keep the code to yourself and don’t divulge it to family or friends who do not frequent the site. This is for the FF247 Community who will be commenting and interacting on here and we would like to keep it that way. Ivan (The Terrible) will be keeping a watch and if you do then expect to be dealt with harshly!
Sorry for posting on the wrong topic and may have already been mentioned but the 21-22 fantasy football is live.
Jamie
Great news!
Yeah all set for gw 1
Speedy! I’m not looking at it until after the Euros !
60 with CR7 and Havertz to go. Decent week after a disaster.
Who to captain?
Ron
Kimmich
Haverz
Gosens
gosens
Havertz for me.
Think I’m going Gosens but I keep captaining defenders as an experiment and it’s not worked
Smash, Kimmich looked really on the ball in the last game or alternately Havertz who wasn’t that bad either. Then again, Gosens was involved in almost everything.
It is eeny, meeny, miny, moe situation but I think Die Mannschaft machine will destroy the Hungarians.
First attempt at crowbarring in the dream midfield trio.
Harrison likely to be a regular starter?
Far to early for this
I’ve only checked prices it’s ridiculous
If you don’t do fantasy Euros, like me, then it’s all you’ve got!
Yes – for Leeds
i went with big 2 but no kdb for now & 3 mid priced forwards.
I dont think Bruno is essential but easy fixtures & his ownership means its a risk not to put him.
I avoided City players for now. 4 of their 7 opening fixtures are away to tough teams. KDB seems a bit overpriced at 12m, I may consider Foden at 8
Bruno’s first 5 fixtures are LEE, sou, wol, NEW, whu. In those same fixtures last year he bagged 4 goals and 3 assists. It’ll take a brave manager not to include him from the start.
I have cappo on KDB.
Twist to Gnabry or Havertz?
I bet everyone did this with Mbappe against Hungary look what happened
The thing is that Germany have never ever been knocked out at group stage in any WC or Euro. They will fight to the last drop this not to happen.
Yeah but the past doesn’t tell us anything about the present. I look at the teams and how they play. Germany is good and we saw that in their second match versus Portugal. So they will go through, 90 percent certain.
Hoping Portugal lose big to France. ^^
Portugal always go through with some weird very last minute goal or other lucky situation. They are favourite to reach the final but like you said, can’t see them do much this time.
So twist?
Portugal favorite to go through? You rate them higher than France? If France turn it on like they did last time, and they have to………. Portugal can do nothing.
Portugal will go thru once again as 3rd place team.
Probably win some penalty shootouts but this time fail at the SF stage.
Yeah, just noticed they have to lose with 4 goals difference… that will never happen.
Last Saturday CR7 scored his first ever goal against Germany.
Will he ever score against France?
I know…
LRL, toss a coin, both have chance to do well tonight.
See post 538
if Germany score early, expect them to win big like 4 or 5-0.. If Hungary keep it tight like vs France & Portugal, Germany may win just 2-0 or something. So depends. U wont lose much- just 4 pts
They are great going forward but need to do something at the back.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Hungary get one.
I’m in the same predicament LRL – my options are Ronaldo, Havertz, Kimmich or Gosens.
I’m playing it safe but dull with KDB. The Germans could easily rotate and there’s no VC .
True, scared of the rotation. Let me just take the 6 points
Hmm same issue for me but I’m thinking havertz or gnabry..Will decide when teams are announced..scared money never made money
Why will they rotate? They need to really win this match. Definitely cant lose it. And Hungary are no pushovers
They might rotate a little but they’ve got a strong squad – anyone could get a starting spot.
