Fantasy Football 247 at the Football Blog Awards. Last chance to vote!

Fantasy Football 247 at the Football Blog AwardsAs we are sure you are by now aware FF247 have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Best FPL Football Blog Awards (FBA). The finals take place on November 13th at the National Football Museum in Manchester. Voting closes this Friday and it is a close run thing so far so this is our last plea for more votes! We would dearly love to bring home an award for you all as a thank you for your following and dedication. We are under no illusions that the competition is strong and we are honoured to have even made it this far in our first year but with your help you just never know. Details of how to vote follow below and the main message here is that if you have already voted in the first round of voting you need to do so again as votes were reset for the finals.

[clear]

tweetvoteWe would like to thank all our members for being such a huge part of the site – without you we are nothing. We have always aimed to make FF247 a community site, a fun site as well, of course, and an essential all round tool for FPL managers. It is your involvement, comments, banter and engagement that ultimately has pushed FF247 into the realms of being nominated for awards such as this.

So we thank you deeply and look forward to a bigger, better, funnier future together!
Finally, we would like to ask that you vote for us in the hope that little old FF247 may just upset some of the more established names that we are up against. Clearly our age will not make it easy for us to win against other sites that have been around for years, but you know us, we’ll give it a go. Every vote counts.

Voting is very straightforward – all you need to is click on the link below, either taking you to the FBA site or through the twitter button.
In case you’re thinking, “I’ve already voted”, then firstly thanks, it’s your votes that have been responsible for us being nominated but as we say that was for the first round so please make sure you vote again.

If you’re on twitter, then this is the most simple method.

Voting via the FBA site link involves about about two minutes more of your time! Just click this link (or the red ‘tweet your vote’ button above), enter your details and under “categories”, click the FPL drop down menu and you will see Fantasy Football 247 appear. Simply highlight us and click “Vote Now” – you will be sent an email which you will need to confirm your vote.

The FF247 team will be attending the event itself and we will be sure to post pics on here and via twitter of what will surely be a fantastic night out regardless of the results! Tickets are on general sale as well so if anyone fancies it please feel free to come but be sure to let us know so that so we can include you in our party!

Thanks again for your time, patience and support!

All at Fantasy Football 247.

    Hello all
Hope everyone had a high scoring GW
Here’s my team currently and I was looking for advice on a few tweaks to the team
Courtois> Forster [ Thinking of jumping onto the bandwagon]
    Sterling> ??? [9.4 mill itb]

Or should I leave courtois and replace only Sterling.
    Any advice is appreciated

      Regarding your transfers:
-don’t like courtois–> forster… i can see why you are doing it to raise cash, but forster has 2 more good fixtures, and then has an awful run leading up to gw 24.. fabianski is a much better option, but these next 2 weeks you might not get much out of him, but from then on, looks good.
      – sterling obviously needs to go, for 9.4 it has to be walcott.. could be a few go’s early but if you are willing to go for a punt…?

      Fpldoc,
I might be tempted to save my FT this week mate. And maybe play Siggy ahead of Sterling.
Forster will probably only be good for another couple of weeks. Fine if thats what you want, but i might see how Sterling looks with Sturridge back in the team and then decide which keeper / keeper combo to go with.

      • FplDoc789 says:

I’m tempted to play the wait and watch too chins
But Swanseas form and Siggys inability to play 90. Arsenal next week as well.
I’d be hard pressed to start him rather than get rid of sterling for Sanchez (or Chadli?)

I would just replace sterling if I was you I would forget Forster even though I have him, but saints have some tough fixtures after the next 2 they have Leicester, villa, Man City, arsenal, Man Utd, burnley and Everton, they are playing really well, but I would just leave It

      • FplDoc789 says:

        Who would you suggest am4r??
I’m torn on whether to find a straightforward replacement for sterling
Or go for a marquee like Sanchez while taking a hit on another player.

        • am4r77 says:

I’m not sure was going to say Downing but you already have him, how would you go about getting Sanchez in, the only way I can think of is downgrading siggy to soemone like wanyama, then upgrade Sanchez if that works?

        • FplDoc789 says:

Already tried that mate. I fall 0.1 mill short
