Fantasy Football 247 at the Football Blog Awards. Last chance to vote!
As we are sure you are by now aware FF247 have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Best FPL Football Blog Awards (FBA). The finals take place on November 13th at the National Football Museum in Manchester. Voting closes this Friday and it is a close run thing so far so this is our last plea for more votes! We would dearly love to bring home an award for you all as a thank you for your following and dedication. We are under no illusions that the competition is strong and we are honoured to have even made it this far in our first year but with your help you just never know. Details of how to vote follow below and the main message here is that if you have already voted in the first round of voting you need to do so again as votes were reset for the finals.

We would like to thank all our members for being such a huge part of the site – without you we are nothing. We have always aimed to make FF247 a community site, a fun site as well, of course, and an essential all round tool for FPL managers. It is your involvement, comments, banter and engagement that ultimately has pushed FF247 into the realms of being nominated for awards such as this.
So we thank you deeply and look forward to a bigger, better, funnier future together!
Finally, we would like to ask that you vote for us in the hope that little old FF247 may just upset some of the more established names that we are up against. Clearly our age will not make it easy for us to win against other sites that have been around for years, but you know us, we’ll give it a go. Every vote counts.

In case you’re thinking, “I’ve already voted”, then firstly thanks, it’s your votes that have been responsible for us being nominated but as we say that was for the first round so please make sure you vote again.

Just click this link (or the red ‘tweet your vote’ button above), enter your details and under “categories”, click the FPL drop down menu and you will see Fantasy Football 247 appear. The FF247 team will be attending the event itself and we will be sure to post pics on here and via twitter of what will surely be a fantastic night out regardless of the results! What does everyone suggest. I feel I need Sanchez instead of Sterling.

Sanchez would be preferable to Sterling for sure, but where would you downgrade? ADM to someone like Tadic/Mane is an option, otherwise It has to be either Costa or Aguero I think. A lot of decent cheaper striker options though.
Yeah it’s tough. Di Maria will score big points again now the two massive games are out the way. Costa and Aguero are the obvious captain choices. Was toying with the idea of Baines to Alderweireld. There are some budget strikers just not under 5.2

Ok so here’s my team.Already used a free transfer to swap Sterling for Downing.What should i do with my other transfer ??
1,Swap Siggy for Mane for a 2 week punt before swapping him to walcott
2.Swap Welbeck to Pelle for a 2 week punt before switching him to Sakho/Berahino and then upgrading siggy to walcott.
3.Swap Welbeck to Sakho and siggy to for -4 and jump on the sanchez train.
4.Swap siggy straight to walcott.
5.Hold my transfer ??

Didn’t think I’d see Welbeck in your team Brooky 😛 If you are intent on it being Siggy to make way for Walcott then I’d probably hold the FT and monitor Walcott closely this GW as it may be clear that he’s good to come in the following GW and having the extra FT gives you more allowances should any hiccoughs arise elsewhere in your team.
I decided to give him a chance when Arsenals fixtures got better 3 weeks ago after your persuasive argument 😉 Hull at home Sunderland away and Burnley at home…… surely any muppet can grab a few goals against that opposition with the service the Arsenal mids will give you …….apparently not 😛

It has been a bit frustrating owning him I’ll give you that. He could easily have had two or three against Burnley on another day though, with a few blocked/cleared off the line. But yeah if Sakho is declared fit then that’s not a bad swap mate.
