First hurdle of 38 cleared. No fallers (injuries), and with the steady, experienced, consistent runners of Johnstone, Shaw, Estupinan, Mbeumo and Watkins jockeying for position, the big favourites – Haaland and Saka – have already broken into their thoroughbred stride.
The Site Team opened up 2023/24 season with 75 points and we’re most content with that. Solid base to build upon, being as it is, 11 points above the average for the week.
Erling Haaland was the obvious captain and those 26 points look neat on paper, but in reality with his ownership, it means you’re running to stand still so looking deeper into the team we must praise Bukayo Saka (10), Bryan Mbeumo (7), Pervis Estupinan (7), Sam Johnstone (6) and Luke Shaw & Ollie Watkins (5 each).
The United double-midfield was disappointing but no panic yet and Odegaard will be just fine.

Probably not. They don’t have KDB, Mings, Timber etc. Everyone looks fit there, I think.

I’m debating the same myself LA. Do we think both are safe bets to start this weekend or would you lean Colwill?
Was planning on not getting estupinian but not so sure anymore… Might do that move just to be a part of the group….
Colwill probably better in the long term. James wontbe playing and it’s likely it’ll be Gusto to replace him.
