fantasy football tips team hints Falling faster than a girl’s panties at the sight of Giroud, we continued our downward trend. Although the drop wasn’t major, it still hurts. 309 spots was the fall this time and it landed us in 4932th place. One would think that when your captain scores 46 points, dropping in the standings shouldn’t be a concern, but low and behold we managed it. Well let us get on with it with a quick review of the team in GW36 before we discuss our transfer plans.

Damn you goal line technology! Ospina and us were denied a clean sheet when a dumb little watch told the referee the ball went in. Sometimes progress is not good. Moving on we see McShane our new recruit decided to partake only 56 minutes in his game, wonderful. Luckily the rest of our defence was a bit more responsible. Terry was unable to get a clean sheet, but he scored a goal and a bonus point, so all good. Speaking of good, PvA grabbed us a nice 7 points. We just sent Lukaku a thank you for that Sunderland clean sheet, couldn’t have done it without his finishing or lack thereof.

Our midfielders Hazard, Sterling and Sanchez all scored 2 points. Looks like Hazard is on vacation now. Maybe. Sterling is still believed to be in Jamaica and Sanchez at least tries, but this week just wasn’t to be. Aha, but there was one superhero. Well maybe not super, but better than the others, at least for this week. Jason Puncheon only played 45 minutes, but who needs more than a half when you are special? Not Jason Puncheon, as a half was all he needed to get us a big 6 points or as he wants us to call it, what the other 3 did combined. Let us move along to our forwards and the man of the hour.

Agueroooo…ah it never gets old. Looking at some old YouTube videos and seeing that face of befuddlement on Fergie’s face as the news rolled in from the Ethiad was priceless. A bit like our own Richie (lesser seen, site IT ‘guru’ / AKA Floydeth) when he captained Alexis over Kun this week, bless him (we all laughed) (lots). Our other two forwards got us 2 big points a piece. Thank you fellas for that. Kane has become a has-been and Giroud, well he can still look at a mirror and know everything is going to be alright. Well enough of what happened already, let us move on to our team for DGW37.

Transfer(s) for GW37 – Sold Moreno and bought Wasilewski

This week’s team meeting dragged on a little, it started on Tuesday and it’s only just finished although we should mention that we took Wednesday & Thursday off! After all that we have made what can only be described as our most exciting transfer of the season in selling Alberto Moreno and replacing him with Marcin Wasilewski. We bought Moreno ahead of DGW34 and the useless (insert expletive here) hasn’t been seen since, thanks for nothing Alberto.

As we’ve already admitted it’s not a very exciting transfer but with Baird & Moreno not featuring for their respective sides we felt we should try and shore up our defence and perhaps try and actually field 3 of them! The transfer has one eye on next week as it frees up some cash to potentially bring David Silva in for another waste of space from Liverpool, Raheem Sterling. Of course Wasilewski does more than just free up cash. Leicester have picked up three clean sheets from their last four games and with their final two games against Sunderland & QPR we feel there’s a good chance that Marcin will contribute some points to the cause.

Captain

Our captain this week is Alexis Sanchez
Given Arsenal’s DGW there were really only two options for us this week in Sanchez & Giroud. It was a unanimous decision to hand the Chilean the armband, don’t let us down Alexis!

Our vice-captain is Olivier Giroud
Not that is should matter!

Good luck this week everyone!

    Morning all!

Couldn’t trouble you for a rating of my team, could I? Wish Ramsey was Cazorla, but never mind. Serves me right for picking a footballer made of glass.

Hope you all have a great gameweek smile

Haz to Ramsey or Cazorla ?

Thinking cazorla as my bench consists of Morena, Lucas and Naughton.

Ramsey for me but he just came back from injury.
    That is my only concern.

Very rare appearance this week but properly stuck.
70 pts ahead in money league and 25 pts behind in work league, both with big bragging rights- but not holding Giroud – (have Benteke). Is it gonna burn me? Also all to play for in BB
Will cost me -4 to get him (as holding Ospina/Bellerin and Sanchez). Would transfer out either Ospina (have pants but also PVA) or Bellerin (more likley).
Really dont know which way to go – 3 goals or so from Giroud would damage me – all oppos have him

mate. id be well happy with 1 game benteke over a 2 game giroud. leave it be

      • Drexl says:

Hey Chopper – long time no see – yeah leaning that way – not in my nature to make no transfers!! but am ok – other concern is Haz but personally think he will play and dont wat to shift him in and out for one GW – just would rather have two attacking Arse and two defending

        • chopper2540 says:

Its a major shuffle round good buddy for GIROUD. He masked us all with his splurt of goals but he truly is cack. Id leave it. Difference with me this year is holding trasfers. its a discipline but its helped me loads. Best year Ive done and its been boring transfers no gambles

        • Drexl says:

fair play – tried the no transfer policy and doesnt work for me although picked badly this year – my midas touch escaped me for sure so average season. Anyway cheers mate – good to see you around

I wouldn’t lose double defensive coverage for Arsenal for Giroud, Arsenals last two games look tasty CS material so I’m with chops in sticking with Benteke. If you’re able to save that FT for next week it could be a bonus.
