Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 28 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

140304130146-michael-owen-bt-sport-horizontal-galleryGW28 is live! Keep your eye on those team sheets as 3 fixtures will be caught with their pants down and reveal everything to us. What will Timmy Sherwood do with his line up? I am sure that is a question that will have us on the edge of our screens, as they host Mr. Pulis and his merry band of attacking talent. Also Hull City receive Sunderland in what will be a battle of clawless Kitties and Pardew takes his men to the shores of Southampton where he hopes he can go on a double date with the Italian Stallion Pelle.

Wednesday brings us seven lucky fixtures. We are likely to see the Citizens maul Leicester in what hopefully promises many Aguerooooo screams…or a pulled hammy in the 4th minute. In other action, LVG takes his side for a visit to a wee club in the north east, where he hopes to leave Phil Jones. We also see former Monaco coaching legend Arsene Wenger make his way through London for a fixture at Loftus Road where they hope to make QPR borrow their white flags. The Welsh are going to London in a trip that promises to make the wags of Swans players happy as they can get some shopping in and their men distraught as they take a back a probable late winner from Harry and a high credit card bill. The Brittannia plays host on a cold Wednesday night, but a scarier sight for Everton fans could be Tim Howard in goal. Chelsea pay a visit to the Hammers where they hope to pop their bubble and in the last fixture of the day we see Liverpool play host to Burnley. Thankfully for fans of the Merseysiders this game is unlikely to end with a penalty shootout.

In the last game of GW28 we have the second game for QPR and Spurs to complete their double. Where I am sure Harry will break the Hoops hearts with a late winner.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so you can see who will be crying happy tears. Hopefully is YOU!!!

Good afternoon guys, how’s it going? Thinking my transfer this week is pretty sraightforward. As long as there are no injury surprises I’m planning on dropping Hutton and bringing in Terry. Does that look alright or is there something else I’m not seeing?

    Pants (Mannone)
    Bertrand Hutton Dawson PvA Bellerin
    Silva Hazard Sanchez Fabregas Walters
    Aguero Giroud Kane

1 FT and 2.6 in the bank

Good transfer. I’d be wary about Fab however; he’s on 9 yellow cards so a 2 game ban will be coming shortly

      • RedVT says:

Thanks Milburn. I actually got rid of Fabregas, that should be Eriksen! I’ve had Fabregas in my team for so long I guess I just wrote him in from habit, lol. Hopefully there are no injuries or major price changes this week, the deadline seems like a long way away. How’s your season going so far, you doing OK?

        • Milburn says:

Aye it’s okay. Been generally consistent throughout and top of both my leagues so can’t complain really.

I’m also thinking about getting Terry in this week.

Hey Guys. I was told the other day to try and get Hazard into this team just can’t find anyway of doing it without dismantling the whole team. Anybody have any other suggestions?? 2 FTs and 0.3 mil in the bank

      • Evening Matt

Hazard in makes sense to me. So getting him in, assuming you are sticking with 3-4-3 which you probably should, would mean replacing Cazorla or Eriksen I think. Whichever you prefer (both teams are already covered in attack anyway).

I would maybe do Eriksen out (Cazorla on penalties I like) for Hazard so to do it in two moves, I think you’d need to lose either Giroud down to Austin, N’Doye, Berahino etc. Alternatively, Terry down to 4.6M or similar (Bellerin to get Arsenal defensive coverage ahead of some fair fixtures.

        • MattX says:

          Cheers GP.

I was thinking of Eriksen and Cazorla as Giroud is the main man for Arsenal up front so should get amongst the goals more. Just don’t really know who to bring in if I make that move.

Matt, post your team with transfer values not last GW’s fixtures…

      inittowinit says:

Hi Matt, guess you’d have to lose both Erik and Sterling, one to Hazard the other to a dirt cheap playing mid? Either that or Giroud drops to Austin or the like and you keep one of the other 2.

      • MattX says:

Ye it will definitely be Eriksen but I’m also thinking of Cazorla and keeping my attacking three

        • gkw says:

Losing Eriksen seems unwise given his form and fixtures, Matt. Hazard is obviously the player to have if you can, but no player’s worth ripping your squad apart for

        • MattX says:

That was/is the one reason I haven’t brought Hazard in because I’d have to dismantle my team to do so! What do you suggest I should do with the team if I don’t bring him in?

        • gkw says:

Matt, I’d look to strengthen your defence. Clyne and Terry are fine, but I’d look to bring in Zouma and/or Alderweireld (Bellerin is another option) to replace Lescott and/or Rose depending on finances. Best wait till towards the weekend, anyway – plenty may yet happen before then

        • MattX says:

Right Cheers Gkw my defence was my main concern.

        • NIN says:

What’s weak about a defence of Terry, Clyne, Rose and Lescott? Does Cazorla and Sterling -> Hazard and Henderson work?

        • MattX says:

I don’t think it’s weak I just don’t like Lescott at 5.0 mil if he was cheaper I’d prefer it as he is on my bench most weeks.
Ye Sterling and Carzola to Hazard and Hendo works I just don’t see Hendo keeping up his points return as he’ll probably have to drop back when Gerrard returns.

        • Matt

Lescott has Stoke, QPR and Leicester at home in three of his next four. I’d hold him and play him.

        • NIN says:

He has only 10 less points for the season than Sterling does, plus the saving gets you Hazard. I think it’s a no brainer. There are only 10 GW’s left so for me, it’s a waste of FT’s to be pissing around downgrading defenders who are scoring really well when you don’t have the highest scoring player in FPL. Buying Zouma/Alderweireld ahead of Hazard is insane.

        • gkw says:

NIN, I just don’t see Rose and Lescott picking up enough CSs. Southampton and Chelsea have the most consistent defences by some way compared with everyone else, and have decent run-ins. West Brom look in trouble if they even concede against Villa. Rose is maybe worth keeping because of form and fixtures, but I wouldn’t want to depend on him every week.

        • NIN says:

gkw – Buying Hazard here is the best move to make. There is no doubt about that. Matt’s defence is fine.

        • MattX says:

Cheers for the input fellas. I think I’ll have a sleep on it and come back to it with a fresh pair of eyes tomorrow.

        • NIN says:

I’m off too mate. Seriously early start tomorrow. Good luck.

        • inittowinit says:

Good luck tomorrow NIN. Don’t be nervous.
