Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 28 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

140304130146-michael-owen-bt-sport-horizontal-galleryGW28 is live! Keep your eye on those team sheets as 3 fixtures will be caught with their pants down and reveal everything to us. What will Timmy Sherwood do with his line up? I am sure that is a question that will have us on the edge of our screens, as they host Mr. Pulis and his merry band of attacking talent. Also Hull City receive Sunderland in what will be a battle of clawless Kitties and Pardew takes his men to the shores of Southampton where he hopes he can go on a double date with the Italian Stallion Pelle.

Wednesday brings us seven lucky fixtures. We are likely to see the Citizens maul Leicester in what hopefully promises many Aguerooooo screams…or a pulled hammy in the 4th minute. In other action, LVG takes his side for a visit to a wee club in the north east, where he hopes to leave Phil Jones. We also see former Monaco coaching legend Arsene Wenger make his way through London for a fixture at Loftus Road where they hope to make QPR borrow their white flags. The Welsh are going to London in a trip that promises to make the wags of Swans players happy as they can get some shopping in and their men distraught as they take a back a probable late winner from Harry and a high credit card bill. The Brittannia plays host on a cold Wednesday night, but a scarier sight for Everton fans could be Tim Howard in goal. Chelsea pay a visit to the Hammers where they hope to pop their bubble and in the last fixture of the day we see Liverpool play host to Burnley. Thankfully for fans of the Merseysiders this game is unlikely to end with a penalty shootout.

In the last game of GW28 we have the second game for QPR and Spurs to complete their double. Where I am sure Harry will break the Hoops hearts with a late winner.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so you can see who will be crying happy tears. Hopefully is YOU!!!

Evening Gents, is everything good here? Thoughts on the team for next week would be great 😉

      MattX says:

I like your team mate the only thing I dont like is Mangela and PvA in defence i’d play Rose instead of PvA but thats up to you

      • MadHatter says:

Chose Mangala for my FT cos of City’s fixtures and just hope he stays in the team – maybe risky that one! PvA and Rose both get forward and are both likely for rotation but only going with PvA this week cos they’re home v Villa. Cheers Fella

      • Raziel says:

        @ Matt
United score every game and Spurs concede almost every game. Why is Rose preferred? Spurs were lucky QPR didn’t get 2 penalty’s yesterday, they absolutely suck in the back.

        • Raziel says:

Also, unsure if it’s true but I’ve heard rumors fans are trying to convince PvA to take AJ’s place. Lol, dude has shared most assists (with Larsson) and he plays as a defender and hasn’t played 1000 minutes less.

PvA as left midfielder/winger would be so freaking awesome. His delivery is always good.

        • MadHatter says:

Indeed Raz, it’s why i’ve kept him, even while he’s a rotation risk

        • Raziel says:

Too little, too late Madhatter. Can’t help you anymore. sad

My ego has been damaged. It hurts. IT HURTS SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Hatter,

You’re almost set mate – I say that because I would play Eriksen ahead of Walters. I think Eriksen is a magician, United are very loose in defence still and Eriksen could have a free kick or two to strike during the game.

      Nice squad there.

MadH, almost everything is good thanks. Well, first red arrows since 1 Jan but hey not too bad, and likewise Wattie were held to a draw at Wolves but hey we’re now level on points with 3 other clubs at the top of the Championship. How did your lot get on, at home to Morecambe wasn’t it? laugh

Top front 7 (Eriksen rather than Walters) you’ve got there. Defence is dodgy, not worth taking hits for to fix but if you can find the cash over the coming weeks look to get in Alderweireld when he’s back or Bellerin or Zouma.

    Mitro says:

    Evening all!

So barring any injuries tomorrow night, what is everyone plans for this GW?

I’m seriously struggling on what to do with my team!! Got so many ideas and only 1FT to use!! The following players are on my radar: sterling azpillicueta Sturridge giroud bellerin and Costa.

    This is currently my team;

      Raziel says:

You need Chelski coverage in the back. Hmmmm. Don’t see Bertie or Rose keep a CS, so you gotta hope for an assist. Doubling up on Sunderland defence is always dangerous, it’s what I’m doing aswell though. Last game PvA and Pantsu got 7 points (with no CS, so that’s decent).

Don’t like putting Eriksen on the bench, United have a shite defence. Sanchez cappo might be wise, WHU have been sucking the past few weeks. I was on Kun but I’m still not sold on that one.

      • Mitro says:

Hi Raz – would do Bertrand/rose to azpillicueta? Or would you do eriksen to sterling?

Surely sunderland must be getting a clean sheet against villa?

        • Raziel says:

If anyone I’d get rid of Rose before Bertie.

Hmmm, hoping Sun keep a CS but I’m really not sold on that one. Keep in mind that Villa managed to score 4 goals in the last 2 games versus WBA.

        • Raziel says:

Don’t see either keeping a CS. Gotta hope for an assist versus United/Chelski.

        • Raziel says:

Both have good fixtures ahead and I’m curious if Spurs can fix their defence now their European travels are over. Btw as Gunner, you’re not set on Bellerin for a monthly punt?

    • 218.2

      Mitro,

I’m was going to save my FT providing there are no injuries – happy with my line-up for next weekend. BUT . . . I’m now thinking Coutinho could be coming in to my squad sooner than planned.

    Raziel says:

Whazzzzzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Bitches. This is my dream team. You heard of the dream team? Well this is the mean team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eriksen should also get a start ahead of Downing, same point total. F-ing alphabetical order. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Anyway. Watcha guys reckon? Pray nobody gets injured? After GW29 I was thinking Eriksen to Mane and Wisdom to Bertrand/Toby.

      MadHatter says:

(pops head around the corner) Good to go mate! 😉

      • Raziel says:

The team is missing ”Baines”. But I guess you’re right. I’d rather they play today then tomorrow, injury wise. sad

        • MadHatter says:

Nice scoring as well mate, i may get to these heights one day when i can stop taking God Damn point hits!!!

        • Raziel says:

Took 2 hits myself, haha. GW 28 Santi to Eriksen, GW 29 Baines to ”IVANHOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE”! Sometimes it works out, most times it doesn’t. 😉

        • MadHatter says:

I’m on 58 transfers already! – I think it’s a disease! Only used one this week – Jones to Mangala

        • Raziel says:

Okay, 58 isn’t smart. I’m guessing it only rarely pays off? On a positive note, you will always field 11 you like.

That’s sort of my ammo for the last few GW’s. 100 points ahead of my nemesis so I can take a risk or 2 (thus a hit or 2). Now I’ll just create a team I like. Don’t really care about the ranking anymore, to be honest. Like I said, beat my nemesis is the only goal I have. smile

      gkw says:

Raz, better than in recent weeks 😉 Top front 7, and Terrivanovic (search for gkw vile disgusting fix) is a sound defender but watch out for the possible Chelsea blank in GW33.

      • Raziel says:

Arsenal will destroy United tomorrow. 😉

But if Arsenal doesn’t do the job, I’ll just get rid of 1 Chelski player for GW33 and try to figure out which defender to sell and how to get Costa for the DGW’s.

        • gkw says:

Hope you’re right Raz, but if not then maybe best to hold both of them as JM picks them practically every game. Or be prepared to cry hot wet tears in case JM rests Hazard and Costa in one of the DGW matches.

        • Raziel says:

Don’t think either Costa or Haz have been rested yet? They been brought back slowly after fitness problems and injury problems.

        • Raziel says:

I think when fit Haz will always play. Their best player.

    makeya says:

Hey lads. Need to get rid of Monreal and I’d like another arsenal defender. Has Bellerin locked down the starting roll?

    • 220.1
      gkw says:

Makeya, seems that way – but wait for tomorrow’s cup match in case of injuries. Arsenal are still very short of defenders, I reckon it’s only worth having one of them if Kosc stays fit.

    • 220.2
      Raziel says:

Bellerin has been decent in all games except the one against Monaco. Arsenal messed up that game. I think they actually stand a shot to go through, still. I hope they do.

As for tomorrow. I think Arsenal will win versus United. Means GW33 headache, Chelsea will shoot blanks. In your case, Pool as well, I think (if they win the return)>?

    • 220.3
      makeya says:

Cheers fellas. Yeah I think I’ll wait till the cup. But Bellerin is looking good.
