Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 35 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

And so from a week with many, many games in which so few players actually bothered to turn up to a week with far less games but hopefully more actual players. If that makes sense! GW35 is the one which has been commonly referred to as the ‘blank week’. So much so you’d be forgiven for thinking that all the fixtures had been cancelled, which of course isn’t the case. There are indeed 6 teams without a game this week but that means there are 14 who do still play. There may only be 7 games but they span 3 days and Man City kick us off on Saturday lunchtime when they host Stoke. Saturday is then a short affair with just the 3 games, all kicking off at 3pm before Sunday brings us Sunderland and Arsenal at 2.05pm and then a Vardy-less Leicester who host Swansea at 4pm. Spurs and West Brom then see us out on Monday night at 8pm. The fixtures in full…

    Some wine cos I said I’d be nice to the wife = 3/4 bottle
    3 cans Coors – cos supposedly have an intolerance to wheat (even though they have wheat)
    2 cans of Carslberg (cos I like Carslberg and I had ONLY two cans left

    Vodka – cos I have vodka

    where is bench when you need some solace (rough day in all fairness but thats irrelevant)

  2. Hello guys..question.. Is it advisable to take a hit of -16(or may be -20) in the coming two weeks if i still have my BB left to play in gw37?cheers

      • EBC, well here’s my team..all in shambles.have 7 dgw players out of which only 3 seem nailed..have to bring at least 5/new ones for the BB in gw37.. Any suggestions from your side??cheers

          Obviously you need to get rid of Sakho…obvious replacement is PvA or Cresswell if you can afford him.

          After that you need to consider what you’re going to do with Coutinho. He’s unlikely to play this weekend following the Europa game on Thursday. Will he play both games in the double? Unlikely.

          Other concerns would be Lennon, Pelle & Mitrovic. You can always look to replace these with players who have a double in GW37. I know Lennon does, but…

        • KOP..thanks buddy..thats almost what my plan is, hence the primary question of taking -20 points hit..i guess I’ll stick with lenon and change sakho, coutinho, pelle and mitrovic after gw36. Got loftus by looking at his ppsition and gametime prior to this game..also pelle proved zero..Dont know what to do with LC..

        • If you can try and take the hits next week. There’s nothing worse than taking a hit this week in preparation for next and it going belly up.

        • KOP, thanks a lot mate.. thats a good advice. I’ll be content with Mitrovic+Sakho to Defoe+Cresswell this week. Will see on the Loftus-cheek position next week..Rest coutinho needsto go if the gametime is not sure. I’ll rather take hits than sulking over the gametime og the present players..cheers

          But, a dilemma. I have DeBruyne and Aguero going to Southampton Saturday. I have doubts about DeB playing at all, and Sergio being on limited minutes. I could go Hazard/Fabregas/Pedro, plus Costa, even though Spurs, with the gw37 double in mind. Probable 90 minutes, plus an extra game. But Citeh wants CL-I’m just not sure how bad Pellegrini cares.

          With regards to your City pair I wouldn’t be overly concerned about Aguero as City’s options up top are limited. However KDB is more of a concern. Anyway I wouldn’t make any decision until after all of this weeks European games.

  3. Who are the best double GW players for a bench boost in GW 37? I’m about to activate my wild card. And who are the best players to keep? Guessing Aguero, Sanchez and the Leicester boys

      • Kane for hatty, as Leic won they will be firing all cylinders to keep the pressure up and need to win 5-0 to make statement after Leic won 4-0 laugh
