Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 35 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat
And so from a week with many, many games in which so few players actually bothered to turn up to a week with far less games but hopefully more actual players. If that makes sense! GW35 is the one which has been commonly referred to as the ‘blank week’. So much so you’d be forgiven for thinking that all the fixtures had been cancelled, which of course isn’t the case. There are indeed 6 teams without a game this week but that means there are 14 who do still play. There may only be 7 games but they span 3 days and Man City kick us off on Saturday lunchtime when they host Stoke. Saturday is then a short affair with just the 3 games, all kicking off at 3pm before Sunday brings us Sunderland and Arsenal at 2.05pm and then a Vardy-less Leicester who host Swansea at 4pm. Spurs and West Brom then see us out on Monday night at 8pm. The fixtures in full…

    Evening all

KDB and welbeck have pissed me off so time to say goodbye me thinks. With am eye on wk37 with 17.8 to spend:-

    A) Carroll and hazard
    B) sturridge and Willian
    C) Costa and Milner

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

Looks like my last two transfers of the season will be:

Mannone > Elliot (finally get round to dropping Elliot and use Mannone’s DGW over Cech’s City (A)

I will then use my 38 one on Surman > TBA so I have spent all my money. Don’t want any left wasting in the bank lol

Will finish on 144 transfers for the season. What about you guys?

A call out to all who have their Triple-Captain chip remaining…. 3 GW’s to go.. What are your best options??
I’m looking at Chelsea in the DGW37, Sanchez in 38, Payet or even Carrol in the DGW37…
    Anybody got anything sneaky planned?

I’ve narrowed it down to those too so far!

      • highaction says:

Yeah Innit… the pickings are fairly slim… there’s a genius selection there somewhere.. Deeney or Defoe or maybe even Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe??? … somebody is going to haul them in…. 😉

        • inittowinit says:

Crucial this one. ML is very tight now. This is the card I have left as an advantage over the others. Initial thinking is either Carroll 37 or Sanchez 38. 37 on Carroll, or someone else if they emerge, is winning right now. Feels daft not to take the chance of two games over one.

Anyone know what to do with Welbeck? Giroud just is not good enough up front on his own and I don’t even think he’d be good with someone up with him. Do you think Wenger will start to play Welbeck more now or still keep faith in Giroud?

Great to see Mahrez get the recognition he deserves.

Amazing how 1 CRAP GW can make you hate a decent season…
    Darlow – 1 point
    Evans – To play
    Sakho – 0 – Fat druggy
    Clyne – 0 – Must have enjoyed watching newcastle’s come back…
Gabriel – 0 – Must have enjoyed watching Sunderlands defense…
    Monreal – 6
    Alli – To play
    Coutinho – 1 – Stupid rotations!!!
    Sanchez – 3 – Expected better!!
    Kane (C) – to play
    Aguero – 6 – Expected better

DDG, Rashford, Payet and Lennon didnt play…

    Total of 17 points…

1,5m itb and 1FT… thinking of AoA this GW (and risk Gabriel with Monreal) and use 2FT next GW for the DGW

Need Alli to get a hatty to get me back in my ML contention…

sorry but you have a back four of liverpool, newcastle and west brom defence. You might as well chuck some Everton defence in there for good measure. Come on, what did you expect? And Arsenal are hardly tight at the back either

There is many good and some cheap alternatives
Leicester defence simpson + schmeichel, man u defence degea, PVA, spurs obviously

I dont get the logic of bring in a defence for a dgw if they suck defensively and a good defence with one game will almost certainly outscore them.

      • PeterPan says:

        Lukealike,
It was a WC team that I made the night before deadline and was meant to change the next morning (something happened and I couldnt) so need to limit the damage done.

Plan would be to try get get 2 DGW’ers in so maybe Coutinho and Sakho out for Fab and Cresswell.

Had Simpson for most of the season and their last 3 games can be tricky so no point jumping on that boat now.
Had Smalling for a large portion as well.
Dier was also in the squad for a long term.

Got stupid with the WC when I tried getting all 15 to be DGW’ers last time

      • inittowinit says:

Liverpool, Newcastle and Arsenal all kept a CS within the double. Arsenal have the 4th best defensive record in the league and got another cleanie today, you just got unlucky with the actual personnel in relation to this week.

The only 1 player I had for the double from the supposedly ‘good’ defences was Simpson and he scored 1. The rest got me 6, 6, 15, 8, 13 and 17.

        • PeterPan says:

          Innit,
My DGW WC had Martial and KDB (sold them both for Alli and Kane this GW luckily)

Just venting as I had a nice lead in my 1 ML and was right behind the leader in the other, now they one has about a 30 point lead and the other is about 12 points behind me… That and Klopp is killing me with his rotations!!

Hence need Alli (mainly) and Kane to go mental… Evans goal would also be amazing… is that asking for too much?

        • inittowinit says:

I can see Spurs knocking a few past them easily. Not sure about Evans though! Be interesting to see how Luke fared after his unnecessary castigation though!

        • PeterPan says:

          Innit,

          We live and learn…
Guess we will find out once its all said and done
