Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 35 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat
And so from a week with many, many games in which so few players actually bothered to turn up to a week with far less games but hopefully more actual players. If that makes sense! GW35 is the one which has been commonly referred to as the ‘blank week’. So much so you’d be forgiven for thinking that all the fixtures had been cancelled, which of course isn’t the case. There are indeed 6 teams without a game this week but that means there are 14 who do still play. There may only be 7 games but they span 3 days and Man City kick us off on Saturday lunchtime when they host Stoke. Saturday is then a short affair with just the 3 games, all kicking off at 3pm before Sunday brings us Sunderland and Arsenal at 2.05pm and then a Vardy-less Leicester who host Swansea at 4pm. Spurs and West Brom then see us out on Monday night at 8pm. The fixtures in full…

    Evening all!!

What would you do with this lot? 1FT & 0.5 ITB

Was thinking KDB/Coutinho & Sahko out for payet & PVA

Or is there a better move?

8 point hits are the best. 😉

      • Mitro says:

Lol – who would have thought mannone would get 11 points today, just need Kane (c) and Alli to deliver tomorrow night

        • Raziel says:

I brought in Mannone, Alli and Kane for an eight point hit. Mannone alone already neutralised the hit. Old team had KdB, Rashford and DDG. KdB was rested, DDG played FA cup and same for Rashford. So current score is 3-1 for my new team since Darlow just managed to get a one pointer. Hahaha. That’s two weeks in a row my 8 point hit absolutely outscored my old teams.

It’s been a glorious day. Another 25 points on the board and Sunderland out the relegation zone laugh

Any thoughts on my wildcard squad? I’ll BB GW37.

Balls of steel going without Kane or Kun smile

      • EBC says:

It’s a scary thought. It makes me feel a tiny bit better that they have a couple of tough fixtures but I do wonder whether it’s worth having the likes of Sturridge & Lukaku even with a DGW.

        • lukealike says:

If you have Firmino and Sturridge im sure it will work out and you get good points no matter what. If Origi is back in time it makes things more complicated, but as I see it. Either Sturridge will play as striker or if Sturridge isnt on then Firminio will play as false 9. So if you have both then I reckon you guaranteed to do well even if they rotate.
But Coutinho and Origi make things more complicated.

In the DGW gone, I had Coutinho, Sturridge and Origi. All got me points, sure they didnt all play max minutes but they all got me some points and it worked out.

The safest bet, is replace Sturridge with Costa and in midfield have Firmino and Milner. But thats boring right and they still risk rotation

Like the Hazard call. Worried about Studge’s rotation, health? Maybe a punt on Costa? Hiddinck sounds like he wants to close strong.

      • EBC says:

I am a bit worried about Sturridge. A lot could depend on Thursday’s game but he looks the most likely to play because they are short up front.

Costa is on my radar but it’ll be him or Hazard, think both would be overkill. Who would you prefer?

        • lukealike says:

Costa for sure, Costa has no problem scoring and IMO is one of the best strikers in the EPL, Hazard = a waste of space and 11mil, wat a joke? Pedro or Fabregas is a better bet then Hazard, but Costa is the most important of all

A case can be made for Sturridge. A case cant be made for Lukaku

I’d have Kane over Lukaku even if he had a triple gameweek he’s been dire of late and that missed penalty yesterday kind of summed his form up !!

    Hey guys

Not bad 59 so far with -4 hit
With Kane & Ali to play.

Anyway I’m thinking of dropping Coutinho
    Got 1ft 8.7m to spend
    Looking ahead to Dgw 37
Already got Ali / Payet / Sanchez / Mahrez

    Any tips?

Im curious as to how price drops work, are they solely done by transfer in and out? If you look at Hazard for instance this season he been a proper let down yet he is still worth 10.8mil? IS that a joke, he should be 8mil sumting. And now I bet he finishes the season on a high and maintains his ridiculous price tag. Im guessing at the end of the season they re-assess prices, but even on form is he really worth 11mil? He is hardly Sanchez even in his purple patches

      EBC says:

Something to do with transfers in/out as a % of ownership.

      • lukealike says:

well its going to take 4 seasons of Hazard being crap then till we see a reasonable price drop, surely they must assess prices like his at the end of the season when they generate prices for new players. Even if someone wants Hazard they have made it near on impossible to have him unless he scoring braces week in week out to justify that price, is someone really made enough to swap Sanchez for him? I doubt it

      1. Hazard was crazy in the last 3 years in fpl.. 233,202 and 190.. Sanchez was 207 last year, that is 26 points lesser than hazard..

      2. Hazard started off with 11.5 and Sanchez 11.. Hazard dropped 0.7 mil in price to 10.8 cos of many ppl selling him.. Sanchez went up will 11.6 and then went down and then came up again to 11.1.. So considering Sanchez started 0.5 lesser and now he is 0.3 more.. i guess its fair enough

      3. This was one of hazard’s one off season and the price won’t go down by 3-4 mil just cos of 1 season.. He will probably start at 11 mil next season and I won’t be surprised if he finds his feet next season and will be on the similar level to Sanchez

Not that I am a Chelsea fan, I am a United fan.. but Hazard is class!

      inittowinit says:

Luke, it’s purely based on transfers out. His initial drops were when active players all shipped him out. He’s not moved since as there was nobody left to ship him out to force any more drops. The people with him left in were by then already inactive players.
