Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 38 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 38GW38 is live! Well this is it folks. Another long, hard fought, probably disappointing season, of near misses and WTF was I thinking captain choices has fallen by the way-side. Unless of course you were one of the chosen few that the FPL Gods showed mercy on and got good consistent scores. As per custom in GW38 all games kick-off at 3pm on Sunday. A bit left to play out when it comes to who holds which spots in the Europa and who is the third team to drop to the Championship. And for any of you holding onto a coveted spot in a mini league there is still a lot to play for. As we all know one really bad GW could put a sour ending to a great season. So we hope you were aware of any hints on who was definitely playing and who could be on early vacation. so you are not left shaking your head in disgust all summer long…

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Sunday in full…

Arsenal v West Brom 3pm

Aston Villa v Burnley 3pm

Chelsea v Sunderland 3pm

Crystal Palace v Swansea 3pm

Everton v Spurs 3pm

Hull v Man Utd. 3pm

Leicester v QPR 3pm

Man City v Southampton 3pm

Newcastle v West Ham 3pm

Stoke v Liverpool 3pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place. And given as it’s the last week and some happenings may be edging your mini-leagues into a tight spot we will turn a blind eye to any deeply offensive expletives you may feel the need to get off your chest!

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW38 from all at FF247!

Congratulations, very well deserved on that performance.

Some of the same suspects from last season will now be on the radar.

        Hi All
Many thanks to all the contributors who have written articles all season and anyone who has posted this year. It has massively improved my ranking this season by winning my work mini league by 140 points and finishing 5.5k. My B team did much better with an unbelievable rank of 623. I ‘m still not quite sure how that has happened. Have a great summer everyone and hopefully England will win the Ashes (or is that too much to ask?)

        • Tomo,

Well done on two excellent rankings with your teams. What do you put it down to besides some advice from on here? Anything you did differently or didn’t do this time?

I’m not a cricket fan, and Scottish so meh on the cricket one I’m afraid smile

          Thank Gallant
No1 I didn’t spend points unless I really thought I had to. Also I got rid of players at the time they went out of form and that paid off for me, plus keeping faith in AGUERO when many were transferring him out. My colleague in my ML transferred him when he scored 23 points and that gave me a lead he could not get back from. Oh, and building team value in the first half of the season. Still the big thing was this site. Thanks to all concerned again I this terrific site.

        • Tomo,

          Interesting thoughts, thanks for them.

I too rather smugly, kept Aguero because I just knew he was too good to be out of form for long.

Team value and points hits are the two biggest talking points in this game, always have been.

          Enjoy the summer mate!

Many congrats Mr D! Funnily enough I’m sat in a beer garden in London next to a load of Boro fans. They’re singing their hearts out. Fck knows what they’d be like if they’d actually won! Wish they’d shut up though I’m trying to read a book!

Hey DMC, everyone kept telling me to enjoy my break and I am, I’m literally on holiday! First Monday for a long time that I’m not trawling through player and team form and stats. Miss it a touch already…

      • DMC says:

Ehehe well deserved rest my friend! Go ahead and enjoy. I was just hoping for another fix (ture) to give it another go at my ML which in the end I didnt win for 9 pts.. Anyway 2nd place also gives money and I did win € 27 on woofbet freeroll, courtesy of a gut-inspired Diouf cap! Cheers

What a 2nd season of FPL I have had and its all down to destiny.
Here is my story, I love my football and by chance around 36 months ago while trawling the internet I fell upon FFC,a lad on there and one you’ll know maybe…….Gallowgate it is and he invited me to play MLS Fantasy, well while plying my trade on FFC I met all the crew who created FF247 and offered a job to write on here, and I still find that offer amazing.
So last season 14/15 I entered the world of FPL and finished up with an overall rank of 105,817.
Then my health turned for the worse and while in hospital I planned for this past 15/16 campaign, I decided on this strategy which was…..if I take a hit Captain the bloody hit and it so worked.
Me and my Power of Potty finished in 22,090 slot overall, an increase of 83,000 places which is some result.
So for now I am taking a 10 day break and then its the UEFA under 21 Fantasy Football competition to run.
    Happy Days
    Potty

Turns out I averaged exactly 58 points per gameweek over the course of the season.

Whereas, in comparison, overall winner Simon March averaged exactly 65 points.

Those 7 extra points per week were the difference between 8k and the #1 spot…

…doesn’t sound like too much until you realise he beat me by 266 points!
