We hope this finds you and all your loved ones relatively safe and well. And welcome back to Live Match Chat. For those of you new to it it’s basically our version of Soccer Saturday but without any annoying flat earthers, big nosed scousers or smarmy Scotsmen. Oh, hang on…
The new season kicks off on Saturday lunchtime with a newly bullish Arsenal taking a trip to see whether Fulham learned any lessons from the last time they mixed it with the big boys.
This is followed by just the one 3pm game as Palace host Southampton.
Saturday finishes with the Champions Liverpool welcoming Leeds back in to the big time at 5.30pm and then Newcastle go to West Ham at 8pm.
On Sunday we have two games beginning with newcomers West Brom stepping back up to host Leicester. Followed by two stalwarts as Everton go to their bogey team Spurs.
Monday is unusual (what isn’t these days) as we have two 8pm games. Brighton host a new look Chelsea team and Sheffield United welcome Wolves.
It is of course a reduced GW in that both Manchester clubs were given a break after their European

Hi everyone!
Obviously not gonna do anything until after tonight’s games which admittedly could change plans but trying to plan ahead! What do you think on these options….
1-Original plan of Salah/Ings to KDB/Martial (now bit scared of dropping Salah)
2-TAA/Ings to Robertson/Martial (Leaves me no KDB….)
3-TAA/Doherty to 2x 5m (Davies/Lindelof??) & Havertz/Ings to KDB/Martial (Early WC probably)
4-Ings/Havertz to Wilson/Fernandes (Still leaves the KDB issue)
Main thoughts I’ve got are that I want Man U coverage for GW2> , don’t wanna drop Auba as think he’ll be consistent, want Man C coverage, Salah prob still best captain option/capable of largest point hauls, are TAA/Doherty gonna be worth the extra money over their counterparts? Any other options?

I would save the FT this week then do Auba/Ings to KDB/Martial next week
Rather than take a hit I’d be tempted to leave it if you don’t have the 0.5 to go straight to Martial from Ings

Not a bad start for me 89 with Werner to play and 2 points incoming from the bench.
Thinking to carry the FT to GW3 and re-asses which city/united players to bring in. Am I all set for GW2? Any changes you would recommend? Bench order ok? Cheers
Looks sound gaz. I assume you are aware of any price rises/drops that could affect your buying of Citeh/United players.
Yep its a difficult one, change up the team that did well in gw1 or hold my nerve and see what happens. It will have to be Auba/Salah that would make way. Auba has fixtures and Vardy has some form.
How is my team looking for gw2. My initial plan was to do Salah to Bruno for gw2 but can I really do that after he just got a hatty. Leaning towards banking this week and assessing utds performance. Thoughts?

B for me mate, don’t think you should be getting rid of PEA before WHU at home and being a good cappo choice.

Man U man, based on Leicester peeps there is speculation around if he can keep his place when other players come back from injury… Not sure if this is still the case after yesterday but I’d be careful. I have him and I’m worried he becomes a problem for me in a month’s time.
Any Leicester fans could offer advice?
What would people’s advice be to the payouts of a private league. £10 entry and there are 27 players so far. 20% going to charity. All the money to the winner? Or maybe something for 2nd and 3rd too

What are the chances of Alli facing Mourinho wrath and being benched for next GW? I have him atm and was wondering if I should use a transfer to take him out for an 8.5 mil mid. Havertz would’ve been temotig if he weren’t playing Liverpool next.

That’s a tough one if wait and see how Chelsea are tonight. Possibly one of the Chelsea boys Liverpool did conced e three last game or James at Everton . I’d probably move Alli on
